96530006 UPDATE:
I have uploaded a V5.1 - This FIX is only for 96530006, other ROMID's do NOT need to expect a V5.1 for their ROMID.
This highlights the need to proper testing by people, thanks to JohnF hopefully we prevented a potentially bad situation!
Please ppl test your ROM's

FRACK
94170014 has the same boost problem as 96530006
I have uploaded a new version for 94170014 (v5.1)
I have also checked the other ROMID's and they are ok

I just want to give a BIG thankyou to Jamie for being the #1 support dude - answering a LOT of questions
Thanks bro, its been a BIG help.
I am too busy prepping my car for this weekend!

ROM 88590015 problem:
My NLTS is not working properly like it was with v2. When I press in the clutch and leave the gas pedal down my RPM's INCREASE by 1000 (which is what I have my drop set to). I know Scheides is also having this same problem with a different ROM ID too. Is this a known issue? Thanks!

I've been busy too trying to replace my clutch and head gasket, while learning the disassembly stuff so I know where you're coming from, lol.

Are you saying that with the idle/garage test you are seeing the above results?
Can you re-test and test the NLTS load threshold down low? like 20%
I just talked to Scheides and he said with the load threshold set to 50% he is no longer experiencing the problem. I am going to make the same change and test it tomorrow on the way to work.
H O L Y F * C K I N G S H * T!!!! Tephra you are T H E M A N ! ! ! !
I am absolutely blown away. I have been working towards this setup for a while now and cant believe it finally works! I have the map-switching working in harmony with my Aquamist HFS-1 alky injection kit. Alky kit off, low boost pump gas tune, alky kit on, high boost rocket tune! WOOT!
Ok, some notes, to recap:
-you MUST deactivate the immoblizer to use 9653006 in place of the 9694011 rom on the 2005 USDM ecu.
-I raised valet rev limit to 3000 from default of 114, not sure if this helped.
-dropping NLTS Load threshold to 50 alleviated the above issue.
-I disabled all extra tephra mod options I did not plan on using, including auto-valet. Again, not sure if this helps.
-No CEL for EGR delete. I assume this is because there is no EGR on the EUDM cars.
-I am currently using a simple 240k resister from a 12v source to make the ecu see ~5v on pin 42, it works perfectly fine in initial testing, I will be looking more closely at this, possibly switching to the newer version of the circuit others are using.
-I have tested alt maps for different timing, fuel, and boost. All work as you would expect.
-again, tephra is the M A N! Send him money.

That rom (88590015) is working fine for me with NLTS in both testing and actual use. I think my settings are at 80% throttle, 100 load, 1650 RPM drop. Just make sure you commit and if you tested it, it will work!
Glad you figured out how to get 9653006 to work on the 05 Evo 8 scheides. Thanks for doing that as I just didn't have the time the last couple days.
So can I get some comfirmation on some things here?
1. Turning off immobilizer is the only way to make 9653006 work on a 05?
2. Does 9653006 work with a JDM map sensor "out of the box"? Meaning, no table changes need to be made?
3. All alt maps, Fuel / Timing / Boost are 100% working with the switch?
4. Does the GM 3 port work with direct psi-target boost with 9653006?
5. Are the psi-target boost tables able to be used with the alt maps? Has mrfred made XML for psi-target boost for this map?
Thanks again scheides!

just back to this NLTS bug, I think what might be happening is that the load is falling below the threshold and effectively disabling NLTS.
So it sets the revlimiter properly, then once the engine bounces of the revlimiter the load is no longer there so it UNSETS the revlimitter..
anyways the work around is to drop the nlts load threshold, I will check out the code sometime soon and work out a fix

RL:
1) apparently - hopefully we can find a fix for this!
2) apparently - just plug it in and log MUT38, no need for table changes to fix the 1bar -> 3bar MAP
3) ill let the testers answer this
4) yes MrFred (if he hasn't already) will need to do his magic
5) ^^, just using the altmaps xml for defining the new psi based tables!
