Thanks, its a start at least If anyone finds any data on the Evo 8's and Evo 9's too, it wouldn't hurt to cross reference what MrFred had in the original program that I built off of.

EDIT: Not sure how reliable that is, it says the Evo IX has the exact same spec's which I DOUBT is true.

Here is a comparison graph I made yesterday. The first pull was with my (allegedly leaking) GReddy RS BOV. The second pull I just swapped out the GReddy and installed a 1G uncrushed BOV. What a difference!

I am still running really rich, so I'm hoping I can now fine tune this!

Thanks for making such a great tool to see progress and effects of changes!

You're very welcome So I have the newest version completed with the VEHICLE LIST page so ANY vehicle can be entered into the program now. I just need confirmed data for the Frontal Area and Drag CoEfficient for the Evo 7 and 10 and I can launch it. MrFred had the Frontal area set at 23.37 ft^2 and the Drag CoEfficient set to 0.38 for the Evo 8 and 9's. I would really like to confirm these, although the dyno graph power curves I've seen seem to confirm he's pretty dead on.

The sooner I can get that data, the sooner the new version launches

See the attached jpeg for the Evo 8/9 Cd parameters. I got it from an article in a Japanese tuner magazine. If you search the internet, you should be able to find the article.

If you guys wouldn't mind peeking at this version for me to make sure everything seems to work properly, that'd be helpful.

VDR version 5.7 BETA

This most likely won't work with OpenOffice, so if someone wants to convert this version to an OpenOffice compatible version, PM me.

Workin' in Open Office for me! You just need to add an ' in front of the Evo year if you change it from the default. I just did a pull and after adjusting my fuel and upping my boost load cut limits, as well as adding to my boost correction table, I put down 324 WHP and 312 TQ

Redownload this beta version. It should work for all platforms without any additional steps required.

I think I finally got it finished

Start at the highest RPM on the list. If its distorted at the end like yours is now, start lowering the RPM until it seems more like the natural curve you'd expect.

In v5.7 beta, I am unable to pick from the "Max RPM Trim" drop down list. I am using Excel 2003.

This functionality has worked fine for me in previous versions.

Ok thanks, I will look into it in a few hours when I get home form work. I think I will look at the frontal area/drag coefficients that Hamish has listed in Evoscan and see how closely they are to what we already have. If so, I will have 5.7 launched today!
