That link isn't working for me but I think its the entire carfolio site may be down right now. I have a 1G FWD tranny in the car so I already have the gear ratios, thanks though. I'm still trying to find the frontal area and drag coefficient for the evo 7's but I am getting nowhere fast. I tried looking in my evoscan power section to see what hamish has listed for it but I realized he has the same cD and Frontal Area for every car on the list, unless he updated that info in v2.6 but I doubt it.

For the Evo 7, it may be worth checking at lancerregister.com. They have a pretty complete set of info on the Evo 5/6/7. The only issue I've had is that they want to charge money for access to some of the info.

Thanks, I've confirmed from multiple sources now that the Evo 7's Cd is indeed .1 higher than the 8's so thats all set. Now I just need the frontal area of the 7 and I'm done!

EDIT: Found it.

Evo 7
Frontal Area: 23.03 ft^2
Cd = .39

Ok fellas.....I think this is it! Version 5.71 is officially launched with all of the data for the Evo 7,8,9 and 10 models preset! Now any car can use the simulator!

Please let me know if you find any bugs! I think this version is the most reliable, bug free version I have ever launched though *crosses fingers*.

Ok, I went out did a little more tuning this weekend with the addition of a Prodrive bcs. I've never been on the dyno and these numbers seem a little high to me. I have even lowered the weight of the car to 3080 on the dyno sheet to get the numbers down. Using the default 3280 gives about 35 more hp.

I see a max load of 428 mid range 330 up top. Maf hz tops out at 2800.

Relevant power mods:
Evo 9 se
80mm Red
FP-4r cams
Nisei 3.7 comp intercooler & licp
RC 1200cc
E85

Single modified Walbro + Aquamist 100% meth injection (need a double pumper)
Tanabe catless tbe w/stock o2 housing
modified stock airbox

Nice work as always JOT, I noticed using open office so far everything looks good but 2 things: Neither the base pull or comparison show any other dyno correction options when you hit the dropdown menu. and also on the actual graph wherever your max power is the rest of the curve is cut off but not sure if this is supposed to be like that?

It looks like you bumped up the DJ correction from 1.078 to 1.1. Not sure how much more time you want to put into it, but it would be great if the curb weight and stock tire size for all the cars was listed somewhere in the file (perhaps in the same tab that has the gear ratios and Cd info). I can help you out a bit:

Evo 10 stock tire size: 245/40-18

curb weights
USDM Evo 10 GSR: 3585 lbs
USDM Evo 10 MR: 3608 lbs

It is VERY possible that you are fairly close to those HP levels with your mods. The Dynojet data isn't as 'confirmed' as the mustang dyno #'s are at this point, just need more datalog files from people that got logged just after their dyno pulls on a DJ. Get your car weighed and then use the Mustang Dyno choices and you should have some pretty accurate dyno simulation numbers!

I will look into the Dyno Correction Options not working in OpenOffice, you are running VDR version 5.71 correct? Also, make sure you increase your 'MAX RPM TRIM' if it seems like its not diplaying your entire RPM range of your pull. Its not supposed to stop at your peak power, it should display the entire pull.

Yeah, I bumped the DJ correction up to be closer to some ACTUAL DJ data I collected (though I prefer more). I definitely will make a list of stock curb weights and tire diamters to add to this for now. I wanted to make it automatically enter the weights and tire sizes into the blank boxes if that vehicle is selected off the list but I don't know how to have Excel do that and allow the user to change that value manually in the same box. Believe it or not, I'm still VERY new to the Excel world I'm learnin' though!
