Virtual Dyno - Standalone Software
every time you open virtual dyno it connects to brads server and grabs the latest profile updates.. that is probably why it appeared all the sudden and wasn't there before.
so.. we went from having to manually copy and paste logs into a broken excel program to this.. this program is pure luxury

good lord ... Ill add those 1-2g talons in there and Ill probably just add them all under mitsubishi eclipse so I dont have multiple copies of the same car in there.
One small correction is that the program doesnt grab the new profiles from the website every time it starts as previously mentioned. It checks for a new version of the application which includes new car definitions and will install the new version if a new one is found. Thats only with version 1.1.0 and later.

Just for some clarification. The 1G and 2G Eclipse GSX where both in there already. I looked up the information for stock tire sizes and the ones previously posted in this thread were incorrect so I left them the same as what I already had. I did however make a new folder and car definition for the Eagle Talon TSi from 90-99. Hope this clears up some of the 1G and 2G confusion. Ohh and this will be available immediately as a new beta. It will not be in the main release version till 1.1.0 is released.
Thanks,

I don't know if I am logging the right way or something. My highest hp was 485 when my car on a dyno jet put down 505hp. and it is for some reason showing some really high TQ. on Virtual Dyno. Like more TQ than HP. I am new to all this. Just down loaded Evoscan and Virtual Dyno. I think I may need to set up the Evoscan. Because I am running a 4bar map and a grimspeed EBC. And just ran Evoscan with out doing anything to it. Now do I need to set anything up? And why is Virtual Dyno reading really high TQ numbers?

maybe your clutch is slipping? you should log speed and it will show up easy if its slipping.
for what its worth i ran some pulls on my car yesterday cause i thought it felt so quick lol.. i expected to see 600whp+ to be shocked by only getting 505/460 LOL.
granted the boost was untouched from winter 5months ago when i decided to put it away for hibernation, but i didnt think id forget how quick it really was even at only 500whp when last time i had it out it was 600whp and 500wtq..
i managed to find one of the logs right before i put it away and look how much it changed the tune just from sitting 5months.

something i noticed though.. i gave the mbc 2 turns and the boost target did not change but the car felt way stronger throughout the powerband, so i suspect the spring did something funky in the mbc and made it taper like hell.. so i need to retest it again..
but hell.. if you ever get tired of the power in your evo and want more.. let it sit for 3-4months then come back to it and it will scare you all over again
free power mod.. tricks your brain.

i just log tps, rpm, timing, load, knock, boost, afr, etc..
but really to get the curves on the vd you only need to log tps, rpm, boost if you want, and afr if you want.. and the rest is auto logged. (Log entry seconds/time)
speed if you wanna plot your excel spreadsheet into a graph to see if the clutch is slipping though.

As far as TQ well that could be different loading to the car then it saw on the dyno.
I wouldn't sweat it too much, unless your seeing something crazy then its an error or something else.
What was your TQ offset?
Also my car was tuned for 25-26ish psi on the dyno jet at AWD Motorsports. My logs are showing really high boost. I already wrote to the tuner and sent my logs to him to see if their is a prob with my tune. I put in my right tire size. If I left the tire size to the defult tire that is on their it is a higher HP run. Here is my VD chart.

if so, then id check the vac line on your wastegate and make sure it didnt come off..
i notice its a 4th gear pull.. if the car was tuned in 3rd and the tuner did not tune the boost curve in 4th at all you will get nasty spikes.. 4th gear will try to overboost like crazy compared to 3rd with the grimmspeed.
unless that car has seriously conservative timing i doubt its running that psi thats displayed on the right of the graphing.
