How are you running less boost with smaller injectors making 130 hp less then I do with an ef4 and out of fuel pump? Something doesn't add up here

He said it wasn't rewired and I am guessing he doesn't have the valve relief spring mod done either. That could explain it.

Are you really comparing a mustang dyno and your VD 'dynojet' software numbers?

Mine isn't rewired either and I believe the pressure relief mod isn't done as well. As Bryan pointed out I must have missed it being done on a mustang dyno. Usually that is the first thing I check for so my bad on that one

the ef1 would be able to achieve those numbers, an ef2 would be about to go to 450awhp on pump from what ive seen.

I like when people on EvoM throwing HP numbers here and there
Cams 50, cam gears 20, cat-back exhaust 25 etc. I wanna see a dyno graph when Evo 8/9 2.0 makes close to 400whp with EF1 Turbo on the PUMP of course. I got GSC S2 and every bolt on in the book and paired with BBK-B 60 trim turbo( FP RED) made 385 whp @29PSI on a dynojet so probably FP BLACK of EF3 put me around 400
Unless your tune is maxed out for track racing. Good shops like AMS or Strictly Modified give a conservative (safe) tune so hitting 400 on a pump you gotta have some laggy bad *** turbo.

^My stock 9 turbo made 390 on pump gas ??? The thing we always forget is dyno numbers should be compared to other cars and other dynos. Their a tool showing improvement on your setup.
To the above poster a EF2 should be close to that 400 mark with a very solid setup, If you plan to keep upping the power mightaswell go a little bigger the first time though!

Yes, the EF2 would be a great choice for that.

I had a chance to get the car on the dyno this friday. I headed over to ES Tuning in Tucson, AZ (I am located in Las Cruces, NM). It was good to get the car on the dyno and learn some weak points and things I need to do to the car. We were limited at 26psi max on the turbo. My tuner wasn't able to get the boost controller to go anymore (Blitz electronic boost controller, not sure what was going on with it). My tuner also noted the car wasn't breathing very well up top he stated there seems to be a "choke" on the motor. His tune was very conservative (this is a track only car) which I like. I am planning on racing the car at 26 psi but I def. wanna see what kinda HP the motor will make on 30+psi. I would love to see close to 500 on a mustang dyno.

Things learned:

I need proper crankcase ventilation. A new catch can and lines are in the works.
I am ditching the Blitz boost controller and going with a manual unit.
I am gonna start saving for a bigger TB and a Sparktech unit
E-85 is awesome

My Tuner (Evan Smith) is going to be coming in town in a few weeks so I am gonna try and get the issues sorted and see what the engine can do on higher boost.
