Take some picture of both the manifold and O2 sides. Just curious.

I know there are pictures in this thread but none of the flange areas.

In regards to the studs. Can you use bolts instead. You can get all four from napa for about 6 bucks total.

I ordered two of those and two MR224441 studs (manifold to O2 housing). If you check out the other threads, you can use bolts in 3 out of the 4 places, but a stud has better clamping power.

Speaking of technical information. Is it possible to get a better scaled dynograph up for people to see? I want to compare different RPM points to other dynos and it is hard to get a clear view. Thanks.

If you are using the OE studs, you need two of the above, and there are two more for the O2 housing... they are a different part number MR224441 x 2

If any of you guys who know how to install one of these could comment on my how-to request thread, I'd appreciate it. I've already put down the main steps that I think need to be done and am just looking to make sure I didn't miss anything significant:

Bolt-in turbo how-to thread

My WR arrived yesterday, so I'm anxious to install it. Thanks.

Why not use two new bolts instead of the studs? It would make life easier.

Clearance issues prevent using bolts, especially on the O2 housing as you'd never be able to slip a bolt into a couple of the holes from above, they have to be studs from beneath. Plus, Mitsu uses small head nuts and bolts. If you were to try to find your own at the hardware store the head size would be much larger forcing another clearance issue. You can get regular old exhaust studs at the auto store, just use the factory nuts if you can.

I think he meant convert the two studs on the turbine housing inlet to bolts. There are no clearance issues on that end. It makes removing the exhaust manifold a cinch w/o the studs there.

Bolts will work there until you replace the stock mani with an aftermarket one.
