DO NOT USE BOLTS, USE STUDS. studs withstand higher heat range and hold better than screws (fact). If your stud is stuck get it out and rethread DO NOT USE BOLTS. they will stretch over time and get stuck and welded on your turbo and your manifold so you end up with one big pile of garbage.

That's funny, my damned studs broke trying to get the welded on nuts (all stock) off. I went to bolts after having to drill both studs out of the turbo.

You can't be serious...

I've been running 4 bolts on every one of my big pile of garbage DSM's for years now and never had a problem. In fact those are about the ONLY part thats held up the abuse. As far as 'getting stuck and welded on" thats what they make antiseize for. How can you even be serious when the stock system has 2 bolts and 2 studs? I guess you would suggest all four studs then right?

Here's my guess. It will probably make the 400+ mark with cams and a few other bolt on's running on 93-94 with some sort of EM (EMS, UTEC, Dynoflash)

But I am still waiting to see some numbers also. If anyone who has one I'd like to see a pull with pump instead of race fuel, and running a conservative tune.

All this talk of 400+ HP range has me thinking....

What kind of safety measures should you be running? Either for you motor or tranny?

I feel like with my mods and this turbo I will break into the 425-450 range, Id like to avoid blowing things up! Any suggestions?

All you need is:

(1) The "Bunny"
(2) Walbro
(3) 660 injectors
(4) Cam gears (optional - but nice to have if you want to retard timing to prevent detonation)...

This assumes one already has "BPU's" on their car...

Here's my "insurance" mods so far:

Walbro Fuel Pump
680cc injectors
ARP headstuds
ACT street clutch (even though my clutch has less than 5,000 miles and no problems).

DOn't know how I'm going to do that. Shiv might have to do it @ the dyno day. Depending on when the dyno day is, my car may be at TT for Shiv to mess around with (he has my blessing). He may do it on his free time.

I am serious. Have you pushed your car a bit further than some road driving and racing? When you do please let me know.

I am suggesting to use studs not screws
