Pounding the White Rabbit
Hmm, still no SAE corrected charts, but I do have some good information to add:
Al, this is where you would do an rpm pickup on a coil on plug equipped Evo with the BR ignition. Follow the yellow arrow and put alligator clip right on there after pulling the sheathing back a little. Easiest thing in the world.

JUST FYI for all the people still learning about DYNOS, most dynos you do have to have the RPM pickup on or you cannot calculate the Torque, on our dyno you can choose to print the graph with either RPM or MPH is just an print option. I dont know why yall are trying to make some point of the RPM on the graph . its lame, lets get back to the topic. lets see an SAE graph, or have others shows their DYNO or track times with the WR. apples to apples. why cant some just call Pruven and get it printed and scanned. its not AL car, and so it should be up to AL to keep posting on this unless he has some other info to add. I noticed some issue with the Accuator and this needs to be clarified. I have good money to spend on mods and would like all the info before i drop 2000 grand. I would hope FP cont to get us info so we can make an informed decision. I dont have thoughts of grandeur. no simple bolton will start spewing thousands of HP out of cars but we should be able to see what is the next best step in our quest for more Performance and at what cost or sacrifice.

I have a tach signal on my data logger so I do not need the dyno tach signal to tune my car
I will be posting those sheets tomorrow for you btw
as was already mentioned. SAE correction gave very little to the graph. as expected. now back to discussion. was this the best tune for the WR , dont know. did the acuator adjustment play a role in the low power reading Dont know. we need more test mules and more dyno time for good answers. most of us would like to see this mod on a stock 2L motor not 2.3L if possible.
it may be a bit better than the stock 03, 04 turbo, but will it be better than the MR turbo. or the TME . ????
alright FP what other info do you have for us potential Turbo upgrade people.

If you ask me, it's better than the TME based upon my car on 100 vs. a TME with cams and test pipe. The little dip on the end was Shiv doing something. THe final graph looks similar, but does not have that anomoly.

I dont know Atlvalet , we are still not talking apples to apples, i would have liked to seen it on a similar setup with cams on each car and hiflow cat or test pipe. i think you will loose some of the performance potential with out cams but for those who dont have them yet its nice to see a good bump with out them .
i would ask the usual question, who tuned each car , when were each of these test run then compared. I would again look at area under the curve. it looks like Alex still had more power across the whole curve even tho you had peaks close to the TME. I would like to have seen your base pulls before turbo swap. do you have these please post these along side this one. if you have it posted else where sorry i didnt see it.
glad to see other stepping up with graphs and mods so we can cont . to hash this out .

If you ask me, this comparision is as close as you can get. Alex went on the Dyno right after me. Both cars tuned by Shiv. Considering that I have a HFC and no cams or cam gears and Alex has cams, TME, and test pipe it's pretty close. We both have TBE and different intercoolers (IIRC).
Or think of it this way. My car didn't have cams or a test pipe while his did with TME turbo.

Shiv
come on guys , your leaving to much to chance. so then what would the WR do on a car with cams , 5 more hp 20 hp or 45 hp. ? see you just leave questions. this may help answer some peoples question with out cams . that leaves alot of us with cams still in the dark.
SHiv, its not that difficult to swap out the turbo on the same car., if FP want to sell turbos , this is money well spent to have common variables answered.
again , base runs before turbo swap is really a must.

Well, I think the prevailing wisdom is that a test pipe is worth 10 to 15 whp and cams are 20 or so. Have you ever seen anyone with cams that only made 5 more whp? I certainly haven't. Honestly, I think you're just being difficult on purpose now.
