Looks like dynojet from the graph. The WR def holds power better to redline!

You really don't need the AEM to make these numbers..

Jack...you make an excellent point. and i agree with you about what you were saying about a broad powerband...that is the most important thing

and also...about the turbo upgrade vs. the "turbokit"...i didn't think about the price difference. kudo's

I've personally ridden in a car w/ a WR and am impressed with how it holds power all the way to redline. The shape of the curves do not lie!

Wow...impressive dyno graph. The curve is what caught my eye, not the peak. Reminds me of what an NA larger displacement motor can do. Must feel great. You're making me reconsider alky injection for my car...

BTW, do you have the new high boost actuator on your WR?

Sorry, Wasn't directed at you or anyone in particular..

Its just that the HP and TQ curves probably started around 2500rpm, ended at around 7500rpm, and crossed over at 5250rpm, so I was able to see what it looked like in my head and judge without caring that it was in MPH..

this turbo isn't about power... it's about response, boost up, holding boost to redline and making very quick laptimes and by laptimes i mean laps ARound a track... not down the track.

Exactly my thoughts. This is why I have been reluctant to post up my WR dyno sheet which after reading this thread I won't. Some people don't really care about power, all that is is bragging rights which I really have no need for. The reason I purchased this turbo is because after 17k on the stock turbo I had a huge amount of shaft play, this seemed to be a logical "upgrade" and actually cheaper than buying another turbo form Mitsu. I was going for the 10.5 upgrade as well so this all fit in the budget and came as a package deal.

The reason I put my car on the dyno is a simple fact, I can tune in any gear and at any speed along with rpm/load. In my mind this is much safer than blazing down the street at 120+ and putting multiple people in danger.

For all you non-believers out there, well... Everyone has their own way of building, tuning, and driving a car. This is my way. And for the 2 weeks that I have run this turbo I am quite happy with the results.

I agree with 954DGSR, Malibu has helped me out a lot, he is a hell of a tinkerer and he takes the time to not only test new things, but to post what he has found and help others out who exploit his findings. I have already picked up a GM boost solenoid based off of his data, and I pay a lot of attention to what he says. I do not think that he would be the guy to pick on, I could see a lot of people coming to his defense.....

I find it some what bizzare that you are making MORE whp with a WR than on a BR500 - that is most odd

Different boost level, different fuel. It's not really an apples to apples comparison and the original poster hasn't tried to suggest that it is.

Let me get this staight - on a car with no cams and no alcohol it makes 441 whp but on the same dyno with a full BR stage 4 and alcohol it makes only 400 ?
