There's a lot more Al. And if you really expect us to believe that you set up that bogus account so I couldn't interfer with you getting a Techtom machine (which you already had
), you need a serious reality check. As for being off topic, this thread was never on-topic. I don't see why it is so hard to confirm that I actually tuned that car. Did I or didn't I? Can't you or DB just ask the owner where/when I supposedly tuned the car?

You can drag up what ever
garbage you like - I don't think it will change the tune on the WRX which is the subject of this thread You are hardly the poster child for honesty in tuning after the President of Sparco USA exposed you as manipulating dynp results on your car at XS
Why don't you take some time to also explain why the State of California has suspended your business's incorporation for failure o pay some form of taxes whiel we are staying
and insulting each other ?

Keep it coming Al. More importantly, just confirm that I actually tuned the WRX that we're talking about in this thread.

And my apologies to everyone who had to read through all this crap. It's just that threads like this really **** me off and my argumentitive side gets the best of me. I don't want this thread to be closed. I just want DB and/or Al to come to the table with the basic necessary information that would provide even the slightest bit of validity to the topic of this thread. Until then, we're all just pissing in the wind.

Shanti my friend. What comes around goes around.... Thats how I live life.
Shiv, your post #168, would be best dropped before that goes any further, public records are tough on people that don't tell the entire truth. This post isn't about that though.
EVERYONE here, this post was put up here in repsonse to Shiv's comment about removing Buschur Racing parts to make MORE power on an EVO and saying Al's street tuning sucks. The point, as I have said but some of you fail to read, is all tuners can screw up a tune or other things can effect a car to make a tune appear to be bad.
Now for comments to specific people:
Cloud, post #62.
I did not mess up saying that Shiv tuned this WRX. The entire story would go like this. 25 Subi's at our shop getting dyno'd. One pulls in and I pop the hood to hook up the boost input. I see "VISHNU" written on the intercooler. I start acting a fool making everyone laugh. I said, "DUDE! You will have to hook up this boost line yourself, I can't get that close to anything that says Vishnu on it, it might get on my hand!!" It was in fun and everyone laughed. We then finished tieing the car down, and yes I hooked up the boost line myself, put the AFR's probe in and made a pull. The boost hit a flat line of 16 psi and then fell off as can be seen in the chart to 11 psi. The AFR's were all over the place. We gave the car a few minutes to cool, look at the dyno sheet and I made another. Same thing. The owner of the car, who you guys have found out and posted who he is, came around from the observation room to get his sheet and said he was disapointed. I asked what was done to the car and he said, "Vishnu Stage 2 on the high boost setting." I asked what was in a Vishnu Stage 2? He said exhaust, turbo, tuning etc. I then told him his AFR's were really **** poor and he told me it was tuned by Vishnu. To me that means Shiv tuned the car, I didnt' ask if it was custom, mail in or what. I didn't care, I had to load the next car as 27 cars in one day take a lot of time to do. He then came back to me and asked if I could re-tune the car and I told him I didn't have Ecutek software but Al could. I also told him that I'd love to tune it and if he came back I'd give him the dyno time for free but he would have to pay Al for his time. That is the entire story. So, what I have said about the car and tune is what I got from the customer. Again, the point is no tuner is perfect.
Smogrunner, post #96.
You asked how is a WRX relavent to the EVO's in reference to me even posting this here. Well the reason it is relavent is this is the only car I have ever seen that Shiv had anything to do with, so it is the only example I have. It's not like he is popular around my neck of the woods. The point was the tune wasn't good.
Also, you brought up Brandon and his 11.8 @ 116 mph pass. This just drives you nuts that he is that fast doesn't it? Since you want to bring up that story let me give you the entire story. If I don't comment on it I feel it looks like I am covering something up and I have NOTHING to cover. First off the car that Brandon (LIFER) has had a VPro on it from the last owner which I tuned. It was originally brought in from the original owner with I think an Emanage on it that ran like crap. He wanted the HKS VPro installed. He drove the car for however long and sold it to Brandon. Brandon did some other mods on the car after he bought it and the car started to run like crap. He called and asked if I would re-tune the car. I told him sure. He showed up to our shop claiming he was getting about 12 mpg since he added in a fuel pump. First thing I did was get the car running good again and then dyno'd it. I think that trip it made around 240 whp. The power seemed low BUT that was what I felt was safe watching the timing, AFR's etc. The car also had a lot of blow by as was apparent by the amount of oil and such under the hood. I was worried about trying to push this particular car further. Brandon left and then called and said his fuel mileage was over 20 mpg and he was pretty happy. He then sent me a PM that said something like this, "I am not really happy with the power that you made with my car when I was there. I didn't want to post this on EVOM and thought if I just contacted you about it we could work something out." I wrote him back, thanked him for contacting me privately and told him come back in and I would retune the car. When Brandon showed up I told him (Basic conversation here as I don't remember exactly), "I honestly don't feel making more power is safe with this car on pump gas." He said, "I know, you told me that before but I see cars making around 280 with my mods on your dyno and that's what I want." I tell him that's fine but I am going to write on your dyno waiver that I don't suggest tuning the car any further than it is and you will have to sign it. Brandon had no problem with that, signed the waiver, which I have and I tuned it. I think we actually ended up making 286 whp with the car. He was VERY happy with that and reported back later that he ended up running 11.8 at 116 mph.
A few weeks/month later Brandon called us and said he thought he may have blown up the engine in the car. I told him to bring it to the shop. The car had no signs of detonation as the cylinder walls looked good, pistons weren't "melted", no scoring on the skirts of the pistons and all the spark plugs were completely intact. If I remember right the 3# rod bearing had spun. That is all, one spun rod bearing. The remainder of the bearings were in good shape and they obviously had not been beaten out of the engine from it detonating.
Now, Smog, you have the entire story, next time you accuse me of blowing up a car or even hinting that I did please know all of the story.
On top of that, as far as I am concerned, had every piston in the car melted and the head blew off through the hood I had NO responsibility for it as I did warn Brandon and he did sign a waiver that was written out that I warned him. Luckily I was just being too conservative the first time and was able to make an additional 40 whp with NO damage from it
Brandon must be fairly happy with my abilities as he just bough a GT35R kit of our and is coming back for me to tune his new AEM EMS.
Brandon, LIFER, if you don't mind could you confirm all of this for me, if you are even keeping up on this thread.

If I read this kind of thread again, my eyes and ears will start to bleed!! All you guys do fine work for US, and we all appreciate it. This bickering is making me ill, and I bet I am not alone on this. I have always been shop specific (Vishnu), but after the debacle with the midwest dyno day last year, and now this, I am getting a "bad-feeling" about sticking with a company who can slam other companies, and people in general, as being far SUPERIOR then anyone else. David Koresh like. I think you guys should quit bashing each other, or let Evom rent out a boxing ring, and a vat full of Jello, so you guys can settle it!!!!!
Shiv, have you seen my video of my Mis-fire? you were pretty confident it was the coils, it wasn't. What does that sound like to you guys?
Final note, I know I am just a "customer", a "number", but please keep it civil for all us out here, it could end up biting you on the A$$, (all this mud slinging.)
My 2c,
Later.
I think I might start a thread and talk smack about AMS, but they are civil, and wouldn't stoop to this "My pewp dont stink" mentality. They are probably benifiting the most when you bicker, trust me!!
Another note, if my Alky kit was "fixed", I would be up at Bushur next week, strapped down on the Dyno, with Al on the tune!! Bushur parts are A1 by the way!! I have nothing but high praise for them, and what they have done for the Evo community!

I can bet anyone of you business owners on this thread.... if a customer came in and said the car was tuned by someone you wouldnt doubt him. No blame on Buschur or Al or Shiv. Only time will tell who tuned this car.
Its funny to see someone claiming Dave blew up someones car, I mean its not like the car blew up on his dyno like a certain car I remember Shiv being part of.

stephen fisher, you can't read can you? It's odd because you can type, hmmm. I think if you read what I just wrote before you posted the customer told me the car was tuned by Vishnu, Vishnu=Shiv. That is all the information I have and it is from the car owner.
