I'd put a showroom stock Evo with you driving up against a 50 trim...

How about your car with this turbo versus your car with a BB 50 trim

Alright, let's just get the entire story out there right now as it is going to be out there before it is over with anyway. What I should have done was kept my mouth shut about this to begin with and just set records and ran fast at the shootout like I did. Problem with doing that was everyone knew I had our "20G" on my car then and I didn't want to mislead people into thinking 10.8 at 128 mph was possible on our standard 20g, so I leaked this information out and it has now blown up into this.
Here is a description of the DSM GREEN turbo from FP's site:
"The Receipe
The Green turbo is a Mitsubishi/Garrett hybrid, with a compressor flow of 730cfm, and around 500hp. The turbine wheel is the larger TD06H rather than the TD06. Testing showed no increase in response using the TD06 in place of the TD06H and the smaller TW only reduced overall turbine flow. We pioneered the Mitsu/Garrett hybrid design to make use of the bolt on convenience of the Mitsubishi housings, and the super efficiency of the Garrett compressor wheel. We modified the Mitsubishi bearing housing to include our exclusive Monster thrust bearing which isn't going to be found in cheap immitations. The Green utilizes a modified TD06 compressor housing with a 3 inch inlet. The outlet faces down, and thus the Green bolts up just like a standard 20G turbo. Cast aluminum 90 degree compressor outlet elbows are available to give the Green a stock 2G fitment.
Looks good on paper, how's it work?
The Green has proven its effectiveness on numerous 1G and 2G DSM applications. Curt Brown's 1G AWD race car ran a 10.7 @ 130mph with no nitrous. Loren Jacobs' full weight 2G AWD street car ran 11.5 @ 125mph, also without nitrous. The bottom line is, this turbo hauls ***. With anything this sucessful you will see inferior copies offered by "dormroomracing.com" type wannabe shops. Don't get taken by a parts slinger who is going to "order your turbo in", we build our turbos in house and have the reputation you can count on for reliability and customer service.
You want fries with that?
The Green is available in both internal and external wastegate configurations. For externally gated applications, we highly recommend Tial wastegates. Your Green can be further customized with 7cm2 or 8cm2 turbine housings, and polished compressor housings."
So that is the description of the Green turbo. It doesn't say it is a 50 trim wheel, maybe it is, I have never run one so I don't know.
Robert told me he wants to call the new turbo he has developed for the EVO the "EVO GREEN" model. Is the turbo the same as the one described above? No. Is the compressor wheel the same as the one used in this DSM Green? No.
The compressor wheel in the turbo I have and Curt has is the wheel I have named our 20G, which is the same as the white rabbit wheel.
In the end regardless of what the internals are in this turbo is the name going to be the FP Green, probably. Is it the same as the DSM GREEN turbo, absolutely NOT.
It would be like building a custom car out of your garage and calling it a Corvette, you can name it whatever the hell you want but it isn't going to be an actual Corvette.
So the 50 trim crap is absolutely 100% incorrect IF infact that is what is in a DSM green turbo. This turbo uses the same "20G" compressor wheel with a larger turbine wheel.
Now stop your damn argueing.

i love people going back and forth asking these asinine questions. when it comes out, im sure David will put pics and post all the specs on it here first. u guys need to stop the bickering because he isn’t going to let all the details out just yet. only time will tell so just be patient. thanks and good night.
Thanks for finally clearing up this little debate here.
ATRAX, hate to say it but you were wronggggggg
JK! Although you were correct in assuming such a thing since its kind of misleading from an informational standpoint calling the new turbo an EVO GREEN. Anyway, glad things are cleared up!
