5857dbb???
I have not seen any big power dyno numbers yet . I am looking for a HP series turbo that has good spool an but not spinning the motor to 9k . I currently have a 35r an I dLL 582 on e85 with stock bottom end. So I will be building the bottom end with 10:1 an Ibeams. I would like to be 700hp or close to it. What is everyones thoughts on this?

For your 700HP goal:
HTA82
6235RSP
6262DBB
HTA86
Those are basically your options...
I too like many others thought this turbo would fill the void between a 30R and 35R, atleast that's how Precision were marketing this turbo. Initially the thougths of the 5857R were, quicker spool than a 35R with similar power capabilities. I do not think that has materialized hence nobody posting any results on them. But, maybe someone will and then we can draw conclusions or at the very least, have a comparison of sorts. I was very interested in this turbo. I'm not anymore.

If you look hard enough you will find results for this turbo in the guise of the AMS 750R
.
I know stuff gets so much hype . I have a guy that has a 6262dbb here but it has to be revved to the moon to have a wide powerband. I just dont want to get into that battle with trans getting rebuilt all the time . I guess i could just try the 35r with the higher compression an see what I come up with . Thanks for any imput anyone has.
The 35R and 6262 will be closely matched in the lower boost area, so either one will work for 600hp. For 700+hp, I would use the 6262 or HTA3586. They really dont need to be revved very high compared with a standard 35R, but they shine at high boost.
