Thanks, saw that this weekend too. R/TErnie says they are a year out, so in BW world that's like 2 years.

True, I already have the cast iron 8374 and was going to go with a 9174 super core with aluminum center to save some weight and add some power; but I think I can wait for the 8474 as I think it will fit my needs better.

Who is this he that you are referring to? Is this person from BW, emtron, or fullrace?

Just pulled the trigger on my CBRD 7163 kit. Will be paired with:

2012 GSR

ID1000cc
GSC Stage 1 cam
AGP 3.5" intercooler
ETS LICP and UICP
ETS Intake w/ 3.5" MAF adaptor
Perrin exhaust
Grimmspeed EBC
Radium surge tank w/ AEM 320lph

Hoping for good numbers... Will update in late Jan or Feb when it gets tuned at RRE.

Anyone on here have insider knowledge on when the 7163s are arriving stateside?

Arriving stateside? They are here. A quick search through one of my vendors shows 3 in stock.

I guess it's just CBRD that must be out... Ah well. Patience... A virtue I am learning.

Some more 8374 IWG results.

9.3CR 2.0LR
Ported head, 1mm valves
8374 T4 0.92 IWG
3.5inch dump/front, 3inch straight pipe back
Hypertune cooler
Link ECU

Still a bit of room in shaft speed, but rear housing back pressure is getting out of control.
Still an epic powerband, making 37psi by ~4150rpm, still pulling clean past 8k.

This Mainline dyno reads bang on 15% lower than Dynojet figures.
388whp on 92 octane at ~23psi (446whp Dynojet)
589whp on E70+ at ~36psi (678whp Dynojet)

Hows this compare to other results on these as I haven't seen many IWG 8374 results in the past.

Hi Benja,

Thanks for your dyno results. I haven't seen any 8374 IWG results on Evo.

Are the numbers WHP or at flywheel? And what fuel is it running?

Could you tell, how much back pressure there was vs boost in the highest hp run?

I am curious, why you stopped at 23psi? On Pump 93 Octane.

I would think that large frame turbo low backpressure would allow 25-27psi on pump with reasonable timing?

I concur, this is only 1,58 bar... My option would be turbo speed sensor and 2 bar But each to their own, and this is still a great project

On your project with 2.3 engine, or someone else's with 2.4 this is going to be a killer

EFR knowers, how do IWG EFRs perform vs. EWGs? There is obviously a difference between dumped and re-routed wastegate setups, just wondering if IWG vs EWG makes a difference, too. The B2 frame has a 42mm wastegate, which is plenty big, but perhaps it creates extra backpressure that kills power?

Anyway, stumbled across this: http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/vittu...s-buy-iwg.html
I don't understand how a larger A/R housing with external gate can outspool the IWG housing, but I'm not placing too much faith in that "test".

I have a IWG 7670 and I'm starting to think it may be a bit underwhelming on a 2.0L.
