I'm still keeping an eye on this thread. I'll be waiting for some good ole 100+ degree days with a/c running type of data before I'll be all in on this mod.

Thanks for the update man. I might be looking to do this then soon. I'd still prefer a different option for the lower hose though if it contacts the lower mount or anything else.

Unless you buy an evo specific one the lower hose will always be near the mount. However the Evo specific ones are pricey. I havent found one that mounts opposite of the civic yet.

how far above half? that sounds like it might have been starting to over heat.

I'm thinking along the lines of a universal kit that you can custom fit. That is what I did with my upper radiator hose since my turbo kit was so close to the factory upper hose.

When I take mine out in a couple of weeks, I'm going to relocate the lower radiator hose outlet to the correct spot. That should be fairly easy. It'll be my first welding job

We have had some really hot weather this past couple days 95-105 F. With the AC on I did not notice any adverse change in the water temp gauge on the gauge cluster. I'll try to data log it when it gets really hot again, today was not that bad, like low 90's .

Please post some pics of the process if you don't mind. Good luck with the welding!

Ok any updates in regards to heat data. It's been over a 100 degrees here locally for the past couple of days.
