Not too discouraged since I saw similar variance in my VD stuff with the GTX setup, but definitely don't feel like this is a 100+hp turbo.

Sorry if I missed it but what fuel is this on?

I think he is running 93 pump , if he was running e85 they would be much higher.

Shell 93, but ignition timing confirms it is not E85.

I'm just about there are only need to do a few tweaks to the tune. (adjust AFR on top end & adjust ignition timing coming on to boost) I'm also going to remove the 90deg elbow before the inlet tube and just slap the velocity stock on the end of the 4" inlet tube (with no filter & no 90deg elbow) to see what it does. My buddy insists the 90deg elbow is hurting power.

Car definitely wanted more ignition timing so that was good to see it pick up power. Need to change the brake pads today, put the front O2 Sensor in the rear bung on the down pipe, and refabricate the mount holding my PCV breather. The damn engine torque'd it into the hood and broke the mount.

Same comparison graph for GTX3582r I've been using vs latest changes.

Last VD I posted for the GTX3582r vs today's VD

Nice results 600/ 443 on 93 , and 400 torque by 4600 rpm !

I'm interested in the results with the inlet changes 👍

Also.. -1° peak load ? Are you padding the low end or is that all you can see out of it?

-1deg on the GTX was about right, but haven't tried more on the SXE so I don't know. Need to clean up the timing coming onto boost since it was jagged looking. When you hit a new part of the map you have to go in and smooth it out.

Sorry the screen on my phone is about as large as my thumb so I couldn’t see the numbers very well. But wow! 34 psi on pump, that’s some good fuel!!!

Just ran it and don't see any noticeable changes, but it is still much hotter outside vs this morning so for comparative sake I will try again tomorrow morning when it is cooler. Still 83F right now so the heat and humidity have decreased air density. I should also note that I am comparing a GTX setup that was done in February when I was blessed with average temps in the 50's so the fact that I am picking up ~50hp is good.

Do these motors have a sensor which rotates to adjust timing?

For example sr20det have a camshaft sensor which can be rotated to dial in the timing however the owner wants.

Some engines do not have such dials. For example LS engines and 2jz-gte there is no external adjustment venue.

Just wondering how much error we are potentially dealing with here.

This is comparing the inlet tube with the 90deg elbow (blue) vs straight intake with no elbow (red) yesterday morning vs this morning. Hard to say with VD, but looks like it is better without the elbow. Probably need to fabricate a separate intake tube and swap it on the dyno to make a real determination. Car feels very good on the topend and doesn't seem to struggle trying to reach 8K in 3rd gear.

Nice bump in midrange torque/power!
What rpm do you see 20, 25, 30 and full boost?
Do you think the .91 A/R TS T4 housing would hold it back some up top?
Is it worth trying to get even better response?
I hear that the BW’s whistle pretty loud how does it compare?

In your opinion, how does this S362SX-E compare to the GTX3582R Gen 1 in terms of sound, boost onset, transient response, how does the power feel throughout rpms and how’s topend?
