I was in dealership to get some filters and was talking to a service advisor about things like this going on with voiding warranties and stuff(Im completely stock with fabric came off side bottom of seat and some of my brembos have the peeling) and he said the new district rep(service advisor called this rep a d!ck) is denying all warranties on tranny and transfer case as "to many kids are buying evos and beating the **** out of them". He said if I ever needed warranty work to go somewhere else. I thanked him for the heads and left with my filters. I don't know wether to try to go to different dealer or join the suit.
warranty question
I hab took off my MBC but my car now cant boost over 13PSI. Im planning to take my car back to the dealer to let them fix it. Does anyone know if i hab installed the MBC, aftermarket exhaust and downpipe. Will the dealer still give me warranty ? Thanks.
did you reuse the stock lines?- theres a pill inside that is needed for it to be setup properly.
sounds like you are only getting wastegate pressure.
I wouldnt recommend taking it to the dealer- im sure thats the issue.

prolly not, your problem though is you are trying to use your stock boost controller again with no pill in the line... you need your original lines...

honestly i dont know the exact details of it other than there is a "pill" in the stock lines that is needed. so if you didnt save your original ones, I believe you would need to order new ones from the dealer.
maybe someone else can chime in further as to whether these are available aftermarket, or any details on what the pill does exactly.
also i hate to say it, but im sure other threads have covered this- so try searching. dunno what you would search exactly but try pill, low boost, something like that.

This is very common and definately your problem. You must order the stock boost lines for like $25 and don't let your dealer know you had a mbc if your worried about warranty. The exhaust being a factor just depends on the dealership. Is there something else wrong with your car? Or is the boost your only problem? If so, just put the mbc back on until you get the stock lines.
