Warranty Issues <Mega Merge>
Wouldn't the defaults be a cuase resulting in too many repo'd vehicles on the market bringing supply up, demand down, and value/price with them? Also the fleet sales going away decreases the demand seen by mitsu and why they laid folks of at a plant and shut down a shift.
Either way; nearly every lender out there has a different system. But can someone give me a link or phone number to call to find any lender who will *NOT* finance a particular brand vehicle?

I'd like to thank obrien mitsubishi of fort myers for ordering my new headlight under warranty...the headlight wouldnt allow me to adjust it any higher (and having a lowered car, its nice to be able to see ahead of you at night) they are replacing it for free im pretty sure, as it was never messed with and should still be under warranty...

Can't help but laugh with the drifting topic of the thread from post to post.
First time I've been back to evolutionm in a while. What can I say? The financing posts are better than reading posts from that Ring3 guy!
Wait
No updates from anyone at Miitsu. I'm considering sending a singing telegram to Janis Little (Mitus spokesperson quoted in the autoweek article and one who issued press release). Do you think she'd pay attention to a singing strop-o-gram?
I cringe every time I hear one of the new "best back cars in the industry" Mitsu commercials.
Engine warning light came on last weekend when my son and I were on the way to breakfast. We took it straight to the service dept at the dealer. After a about an hour and half they discovered that a some hose hadn't been properly connected.

MSM,
Yeah, and I haven't heard anything from Mitsu regarding the 2-page letter I sent them. Maybe I shouldn't be terribly surprised, but I kind of thought they'd acknowledge it.
Oh well...continue to keep us posted.
Regards,
Joel

That might scare MSM (the car company) in to being nice.
Just imagine a whole herd of out of shape guys doing a mass strip o' gram in the lobby of MSM's US head quarters. If that isn't sobering I don't know what is.

The dealership is really everything.
Regarding Subaru, here is where I am:
Third transmission - none covered
Five driver's side window repairs - all covered (dealer neglegence first time)
Complete AC system replacement - partial coverage, out of warranty (by 12k)
That's about it. I'd never take the car to them for anything other than a non-drivetrain repair.
I WOULD take the car to Mastro in Tampa for any repair. They are one of the most amazing dealerships I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this until I had spent the first three years frequenting my ****ty local dealership (which is one of those multi brand dingushaus places).
Mastro has basically sold me a new 05 STI, not because of what the car is or how it competes (or not), but because of the dealership experience behind the whole thing. If you put any real miles on your car, cultivate a good one if you can or move on. Screw me once, your fault, screw me six times, my fault
