There is no such thing as an 04 Evo as of yet. It won't be released until spring time.

Besides, California is first off the boat and nobody has said anything yet from the West. I read somewhere mid to late March.

Not true, I may be wrong on this but I remember seeing in an issue of SCC that Vivid had a 2k4 EVO... It didn't sound right to me either, but I distinctly remember it saying 2k4...

According to the Mitsu general sales manager they will begin production in mar/apr and begin to arrive at the dealership may/jun so I'll believe it when I see a photo of the VIN plate.

I've sent him another private e-mail asking more questions. I'll let everyone know when he replies. I can't believe it's a 2004 and I suspect he wants to believe it is a 2004 otherwise someone may have lied to him.

Still skeptical

The 2004 EVO's are not out yet. You will find that nearly every dealer is willing to drop the price on the 2003's. If they are still being crazy and trying to sell em over MSRP or even at MSRP, you are getting ripped off by that dealer. Heck I have a new never titled Rally Red that MSRP at $30,062 for sale at $27,900 plus TT&L. No silly strings attached for adding up the price. We still make a small amount of profit but that is what is fair and a good deal.

Geez, if they're arriving that late, they may as well just call them 2005s.

as a follow up to my previous statement....
for all of you with SCC turn to page 120 of the january 2k4 issue and read what year EVO it is. However if you go on it says that they took delivery of the evo in march of last year so it is obviously an 03 and the first one is a typo....
