Having my rear fenders rolled by a particular person. Car looked like this before:

Then fenders were rolled by a local "fender roller" cause the rears were rubbing a bit...

It was such an eyesore and expensive (LIKE REALLY EXPENSIVE) to repair i just said Eff it and went wide body in the rear

I dont regret the wide body decision by any means, it looks awesome in my opinion. i really regretted HAVING to go wide body and chopping up the evo though.

.
He blamed it on the previous roll job, even though it was obvious most of the damage was from him. I mean, just look at the photo, all those multiple pressure creases from the roller around the edge. HORRIBLE job.

That was my Evo 8 for 9 years before Jhurley_EvoVIII bought it so I have an emotional attachment to it and it pained me to see this.

agreed :[ it really made me sad too. i wanted to stay stock body but i made the best decision i could with what i had... either live with f**ked rear fenders ... try and repair (suuuper pricey).. or go wide body.. :[

The wide rear looks amazing though !
That pull job is out of control. I roll fenders (not professionally) and I certainly would have stopped about 3 hours before that happened lol. You can tell right away what's going on with the body. That is very sad to see.

If you go to reputable shop is there any gaurantee that if they damage your paint or completely screw up the fender they cover the damage? I want to upgrade to wheels that would require some fender rolling, and this is making me scared

Kinda dislike the widebody now...

Especially the vents that spew dirt onto the doors and bumpers...

looks really good to me man, especially cause you can fit a nice meaty setup under those fenders

this is exactly what i dislike about it.

my regret: buying a bolt-in roll cage for a "good deal" with the intent of welding it up and making it useful.... then realizing it's easier to just build one.

99% of the time there is no guarantee about not cracking the paint.

I regret not taking the fake carbon fiber vinyl wrap from the P.O off of my center dash bezel earlier.
