Since you guys are curious about the E-85 Vs 93 pump difference.. Here is a Dyno Graph of my car with 612 HP VS 443HP on a FP Black. With subtle work done to the engine. This was actually done on E-70 not E85 as the weather in chicago prohibits me from finding any E-85.

I ran E85 last year and loved it! I just wish it was closer to me! I drive 60 miles and fill up 8,
5 gallon cans every 2 weeks but the power is worth it imho I detuned to 25 psi on 93 for the winter since traction sucks in the cold weather. I will change back when it warms up outside!
Swapping back and forth it easy no need to drain the tank BUT when going to 93 turn down the boost and have a alternate map! The car may run a bit weird but a tank or two will get right! Then when going back to E85 or whatever blend you have run a couple tanks through before beating the **** out of the car again!
Another thing is most of you guys know (but a few don't)is E85 is SUPPOSED to be 85% ethenol and 15% gas BUT one station may have a different blend than the guy down the road! So mixing e85 and gas isn't a problem as long as your tune matches the fuel

The gunk is from the additives that some stations still add to their E85, which is required with 93 octane, but not required with the E85. Check out the thread in the alternative fuel forum concerning injector "gunk" and the causes behind it. If the gunk was based solely on the E85 cleaning out all of the carbon build-up, etc. in the fuel system, everyone would have this gunk buildup on their injectors...which simply is not the case.

Thumbs up

Thats why I am saying that my goals with the car, powerwise are where I want them. I can do the same numbers with 93 octane and a tune. So I am gonna go for it and ditch the e85 for now.

Now, if I get a built block, or decide to just run this block till it dies, I would go with e85, cause then my goal is just more power, for now, I am happy with what I got. As its a nice safe limit that I can still have a lot of fun with.
Considering what I'm going through now I completely understand

Thank you for the correction. I was wrong.
