It is not leaking. I am going to make sure that Im not hitting 100% before I actually hit full throttle though.

Yes, I am, That was the location where I had a leak when first starting up from my build. The hose was pretty corroded. I cleaned the metal tubing when out of the car really well, but didn't consider the hose. I cut the hose back to get a good seal, and it has been good since.

I noticed a leak there tonight when I filled the car up with coolant for the first time post install and just wanted to double check that I routed them correctly.

Used a different hose for a better seal and I believe all is well now .

Thanks a ton!

Did anyone ever figure out the fix for the FB 70mm TPS adjustment or how it should be setup? I haven't started my car yet, but mine reads 23% ish at idle to have 100% at wot and 13.3% at idle to have 92-95% wot. What is the resolution to this?

I am in the same boat and about to adjust the biss, but didn't think it would impact the WOT TPS %. Wonder if it actually matters since all the power cals are load and rpm based....bump for answers!

Just set your TPS to 13.333 at idle. You will probably have to adjust your biss and then re adjust your tps to 13.333. It's okay if WOT is 90% and above. Just let your tuner know if you're not tuning yourself.

I just went to clean my TB and found my TB mouth crushed by t-bolt clamp. damn.

apparently, full blown is not covering this, right? what's the deal with their account being disabled? they were posting as of 4 days ago in the bent plate issue thread and now they're disabled? What's the skinny? Not supposed to use t-bolts? ridiculous! [EDIT: NO YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO USE 3", 79mm/87mm T-BOLT]

And what are my options? Will a mil-spec bolt onto the same location without a problem? Since everyone swears by their seals anyway and I've never heard of anyone crushing one with a t-bolt clamp and I've been very happy working with them in the past...

I have the MAP Rev3 IM that specifically came with the FB 70mm TB, can I swap it out for the 65mm mil-spec without issue?

Please advise, thanks.

Happened to me (post 177). I have a customer who's having boost leaks with it too. For now I'm recommending stock TB.

FWIW, I'm welding on an aluminum pipe with a lip. It will be a lot stronger. I've seen a build using Wiggins clamp that was welded onto the FB TB too.

yeah, the mil.spec is a ported stock, so... same same.

do you know the mil.spec/stocker will bolt right up to the same location?

It does. You'll just have a step going in the right direction 65mm TB to 70mm IM. It's better than going from 70mm TB down to 65mm IM IMHO. Lot's of acronyms!

Wierd I'm a lucky one having no issues and no leaks. I also used t bolts too.

The bent plate thread is redicous. Someone should examine deflection force of the blade. That's something I wouldn't believe happening under standard engine operating conditions.

Fragile I can accept as a risk, but I can't fathom the dang blade bending!

I've had some every violent anti-lag backfires too.. Popped a coupler. Silly me putting -20 in wot areas lol.. For fun

I had idle issues all of a sudden a few months back. I fixed them, mostly, with a new IAC motor but it took the ECU a few hours to learn it. People told me to adjust the BISS. Never got 'round to it. I still can't just hop in and drive on a cold morning or it might sputter and die, it even happens in the middle of the day sometimes, jump in, start up and give it a few seconds and it's alright. I have no idea how long my TB has been crushed. It was driving alright. there were some issues, it would "pop" sometimes when getting on the throttle.

I don't hear anyone having any problems with the mil.spec unit. I'll do some more research but likely just going to do that.
