Well mine is holding almost 24psi now with no leak! I guess the o-ring did the trick. My boost still sucks and I'm getting blowby on the test now. I believe this could be because the motor isnt TDC but I'm not sure yet.

The ones pictured from MachV do look a great deal like the NAPA ones. The ones I received from MachV were brown and their design looked different from the ones in your post justchil. What are the specs on the injector o-ring you used?

I used one of the small red o-rings from the injectors.. slide it on the shaft all the way to the end that holds the throttle cable. It made the C/E clamp a lot harder to get in but somehow.. someway it sealed!

This is in addition to the green seals I got from Machv. I wouldn't really advise doing this but it is working for the time being.

I believe NAPA or Oriley's (spelling?) carry pretty decent injector o-ring variety packs justchil. Sorry about the crap luck, story of my life as well

Awesome! thanks for the info. I'm going to assume these also cost less than $11/pair?

I got mine put in this past weekend. Figured Id do it while installing the clutch. It wont be running until next weekend. So I dont know if it did the trick. But the old seals were not in the greatest shape. Thanks again for the writeup!

I didn't realize it at first but they caused the end of the shaft to stick hour just a hair more... the plate just barley touching the inside of the TB. It didn't start sticking til about 4 hours into the drive to Norwalk. I said screw it and bought a BR ported throttle body which is P.I.M.P

So far I think it's badass. Seems more responsive than stocker... looked like some sort of metal bearings or something that were in place of the seals. It's a totally different shaft/plate/etc.

I can feel a little something on the butt dyno but no real proof... I bought the ported manifold too but need to install it. I had to add a little fuel in the high load/high rpm range on the way home.

I plan on posting up a full review within a few days... 8-10hrs of driving and I'm seeing things lol

Ok so the Buschur ported TB leaks WAY worse than the stocker ever did I can't even do a leak test it leaks so bad... I guess I'll have to find something to cap off the UICP so I can test the rest of the system.

dude, that sucks. I just did a boost leak test on my system yesterday and the seals I installed 6 months ago when I did this writeup are holding up fine. No leaks.

None of those cars have had symptom one of a leak ever since. I replaced the seals on my car with those from Mach V and like you, have developed a substantial boost leak only allowing me to hold 19-20 psi as of last night. The seals I purchased from Mach V were brown and looked considerably different from the ones I have been using from napa. The napa seals also fit MUCH better. What color are the seals that you have received from Mach V?

Well, i have tried to get that part numbers.
