COBB AccessTUNER Pro for 2008 EVO X (merge)
Thanks for the advice guys. It will be a month or so before I can pick up the AP so I should have my car broken in and have some time to run it with stock tune. I would like to have the AP before I take the car to get the windows tinted. I think the valet mode will come in handy in that situation.
Virtual Dyno feature
Robb, I've been following the Access Port technology for a while and I was wondering whatever happened to the Virtual Dyno feature that Trey posted about on the Cobb Blog back in March of '08 (bottom of the page).
I just got my AP the other day but haven't installed it yet. Will this feature be available shortly?

Robb,
Got my AP and everything is working great.
I am only not able to find the boost gauge feature, which I think AP has.
I looked through the manual, but was not successful.
Is it in the monitor section or the data log one?

Thanks,
Is not under boost, i think is MAP pressure or something like that. Look for a reading in PSI. Also you will not see more than 18 psi.

Be watching for an update tomorrow for the AP. It'll include much faster install (2.5 min) and change map (20-40 sec) times along with some other new items.

Thanks,

In the hardware manual of the chip it says 100 is the maximum number of times it can be re-flashed. I think this has something to do with the physical properties of the chip material. That is a pretty high number, but just don’t go crazy in re-flashing IMHO.

Robb do you have any input to add to this? 100 times seems high, but it all depends on how you intend to use the AccessPort...
