CBRD wins the least expensive power mod award...
i tried this and my car is not likeing it... i have a CEL....how do i tighten the aculator am i just moving the lock nut and the other piece up on the threads or am i turning the long silver rod itself?
is this mod applicable to MR's as well. Does anyone know how the transmission responds? Also would adding boost pill with stock wga make this mod better with stock wga boost controller setup. I have read MR's don't like MBC's because of issues with boost control and clutch engagement..
Just did this on my new beaterX! 2.5 turns in on the wga and 1/3 down on the MBC yielded this:

Should have left the MBC alone I guess, peak did go down a tish, but with the mods on the car, 26psi peak is plenty for now:

Lastly, the data, for anyone that cares:

This was done on the same road, same conditions, within an hour of each other. Perfectly flat, started run in 3rd at ~2000rpm and WOT till ~7000.

I don't think that counting how many times you turn the arm in is very accurate at all. It seems to me that since not every WGA is adjusted the same from the factory, it might be better to screw it all the way in and then back it off the amount you want.
For instance: for what's called "3.5" turns, might not be for every car so just tighten it all the way then back it off half a turn. Seems like it would be a more accurate way to do it.
