I had to call my dealer and get him to look it up. He found it, amazingly, last time I had to damn near draw a map for them. I'm going to schedule sometime next weekend probably, maybe saturday.

There is no way it will hurt your car. It just wipes the old program out and puts a new one in. It replaces the old flash. If one EVO is improved by it then all the EVOs that where built in the right time frame. Now flashing it to an outdtated flash could hurt it. I know guys that flash there cars tons a time in a day and never have issues if they are telling u it is bad to flash to much.

depending on your dealer man, my dealer is a racer, and he tolled me as long as you do all the service / oil changes here i will not bother with any of the modifications including ecu teck nothing or anything in that matter.

No it isn't, it is power you should have had in the first place.

Atleast my dealership hasnt said anything about my TBE and MAF housing/filter. I guess it could be worse than 12 KM's and 2 hours :P

Give them the TSB number and as long as your car was made before the date listed you're good to go.

Which Max Madsen dealership did you go too...? I talk to the one in Aurora/Naperville and they have it... Plus this place is the only dealer I go too as they don't give you bo and always do a great job. I also get 10% off service for as long as I own my X. Was part of my purchase... They also told me that mods on the car is not an issue as long as it's not the root cause of the issue and they'll warranty it.

Downers Grove I think it was. I should maybe visit your dealer. This is ridiculous really. I feel like I have to get a tune done and Mitsu dealers know less about their cars than respectable tuner shops.. A tune will solve all my problems but will completely rid me of 800 dollars and a warranty. They even printed out this sheet and gave it to me that says all the legal mumbo jumbo about tuning and not being warranted after. They said that everyone online is an idiot and that the car is running fine. Fools.
