They even printed out this sheet and gave it to me that says all the legal mumbo jumbo about tuning and not being warranted after. They said that everyone online is an idiot and that the car is running fine. Fools.
You'll like it there better, I guarantee it... Make a visit and I'm sure you won't go back to Downer's Grove again.

no #2 reflash yet, I fixed the slight hesitation after 5000 by installing an apexi voltage stabilizer. I had it on my last car and I was going to ebay it. Installed it for kicks and I was surprisingly impressed. I really did not expect that. Also seemed to help my mpg. Im debating if i need the flash or not. Maybe the extra voltage helped out the fuel burn. Now im wondering if a leaner flash will hurt my hp. My car manufactured date is before April, but i have no issues now.

no clue here in winston salem. They haven't heard of it, even though I gave them the TSB#. These guys are unbelieveably frustrating to deal with here in WS.

Enjoy the weekend!!!

It may be that some of these dealerships do not have an Evo certified mechanic. At the dealership I go to, they have 2 guys and no one else is allowed to touch and Evo...even to move it around the lot.

BTW, I got my reflash...runs great..but my gas guage does not work...Guess they forgot to hook something up.

I got mine reflashed yesterday. I intentionally ran the car pretty hard on the way to the dealer to get a feel for the "Pre-flashed" conditions. Gotta say, and this is only on mine, that the lower end is smoother but a bit less torque. It's actually smoother throughout the entire run. From about 3rd through 5th is where I felt the most improvement in power. Definitely pulled harder.

Then there's the shifting issues. Perhaps you've read about people having issues shifting smoothly through the lower gears. I had the same issue, but I also noticed that it was easier. Not sure if it's the reflash or because the car was already warmed up.

Last item is with idle. Pre-flash was horible. Now, it's about 85% better. Still has it's moments but nowhere near before.

Hope this helps someone.

No - had the deal worked out, then they pulled the deal back and said no. So I bought out of state.

I got the reflash last Friday. Idle is better, but still flutters once in awhile. The pull from 2,800,when boost comes in, to redline is way more linear now. Alot more pull up top and very noticeable in higher gears. Makes you beg for a sixth. The best thing is the fuel mileage is up. Without changing my driving style, I'm getting 22mpg in the city. That is up from 20.??. Very nice with premium fuel prices. Back to the cone this weekend and I think that will bump it up again. Had to make it stock for the trip to the dealer.

They would give you **** just for having a cone filter on? Cause there is no way I am taking off the cat back for dealer visits every time lol.

I had my reflash done on Saturday... The car feels alot stronger on the top in with a more linear pull... I am hoping to see better gas mileage (if I can keep my husband out of the drivers seat I might... LOL)

I just got the 2nd reflash after having the first reflash for 6 weeks.

I gotta say that the 2nd reflash the car feels weaker and my fuel economy went down with the 2nd reflash. I was getting 21-22 MPG on the highway and now I'm getting closer to 19.5 - 20 MPG.

Anyone else seeing worse fuel economy with the 2nd reflash?
