Defective Stock Recaro Seats
The recaro seats on the x seems more cheaply built & design than other cars with recaro seat (or any other brand seat for that matter) of the same price brackets IMO.
Sure, we know no car is perfect, nothing is, and it is surely good if we focus on the good things in the car we have & be content with it.
But having said that, that doesn't mean we should just keep our eyes close on areas that fall short & keep quiet. Afterall, if no one complain or give feedback, then how can they improve?
Also, just because we are complaining, doesn't mean we hate the car. On the contrary, many of us complain because we love the car & hope it can improve on the problematic areas to be a better car.
Afterall, it is only through comparision & competition & that we get better cars ( & other products) over time.
If no one complains stuff like, we need better safety, we want better economy, etc , we will still be driving the model - T

Defective Stock Recaro Seats
I've noticed the Frabric coming out from under the Seat belt pass throughs on the EVO X GSR Recaro Seats. It's just stapled under the pass through and if the staple comes out so does the fabric.
I brought it up to my Dealer and we even went out to a vehicle on the show room floor and pinched, and sligtly pulled the fabric in that location, and it came right out.
I can see it being a big issue after a few years of use. Has anyone else had this issue. The Mitsubishi Rep only comes to the dealership once a month. When He does get a chance to look at it.
I definitely want a repiar builetin posted for this issue. I've paid alot of money for my EVO X there is no way in hell this should be happening! Especially because they are Recaro's!
This pic just shows where it's coming out as a reference, I'll have my wife take pics if she has time. to show how it's coming out on our EVO X.

i just found out one of the staples on my passenger seat came loose. i took it out, but the fabric doesn't look like it's "falling off" like you claimed...it still looks pretty tight.
Had same problem with my driver side seat only and the dealer had it re sitched and it looks and is alot better. That would be great if a TSB came out for new recaros. Anyway just complain and the dealer will take car of it.
