Defective Stock Recaro Seats
Noticed my staple issue last night coming back from flag football event. Buddy of mine noticed the staple sticking out and she thought it same how got tacked onto my fleece but no I explained to her about the good job the factory did on our seats.

No way, I can't see RECARO doing that, what if Mitsu failed to make safe seats and had major issues with the seats, who'd take the heat then? Not Mitsubishi, they might not be real RECAROS and they made be made in China for Mitsubishi, but Mitsubishi doesn't make the seats!
RECARO has a lot at steak, their one of the worlds biggest names in racing seats, that'd be a huge risk to let someone use your name!

They should be blamed. They put it in the car so it's their problem to take care of it. Recall maybe. Remember the brembo problem mitsu had? They replaced those. The wing which I can bet was made by another company, they replaced those.Every car manufacture out there has alot of theirs parts made by someone else. When it breaks they fix it, plain and simple. There are alot of people now with this problem and cars new on the showroom have this problem also. The navi in my 07 TL-S was making wierd noises through the speakers. When to acura and got a new one. The navi in the acura's and honda's are made by alpine not honda.

Just to let you know that companies do that all the time. looking at the seats I can't see how recaro made this seats since all the others seats they make with other companies don't do this. Recaro makes good seats. I could be wrong but since mitsu put it in the car they need to own up to it

People need to relax a little bit about it. It's a whole new car that is bound to have issues and gremlins. Regardless of R&D there is still bound to be issues in any car. I would count people as lucky that the issues are relatively minor and that they are happening very quickly. Quickly enough so that hopefully they are addressed by the time next year's model comes out.
And people complaining about build quality of Evo's and what not should take a step back as well. Some people have bad experiences. A LOT of people don't. People that don't have issues don't say
"Hey, my car is doing great. Just wanted to let everybody know."
Only the people complaining about a problem get the car it's noteriety.
I just sold my IX MR which had almost ZERO problems (the clutch was a problem but it was an aftermarket Exedy installed wrong. I also had the water issue under my passenger carpet which was fixed immediately by Mitsubishi and never had a problem again.)
My brother still has his IX MR that he's owned since March 2006. Not one single problem with that car. Just food for thought.
