A "Beauty" of a body with the makings of a "Beast" underneath...

RE: Rebutle to UneiesStains

Your nickname is pretty cool I had to mention that. haha. I am a Rally Fan as we all are, but when you say that Mitsubishi always finsishes in the top 5, well that is not saying much when there are only 10 cars racing, usuailly 2 from each manufacuter, being 5 companies, thus 10 cars, to me is not a real impressive showing. Mitsubishi has been near dead last in Manufacturer points for 2 yrs running. I am not saying its the cars, obviousily not, I bought one, but they need a decent driver so bad. Mits has not had a decent rally driver since Tommy left in the mid 90's. Then X is just a concept for now, and how much it will really look like that? who knows, but I just think with Mits's financial wows due to lawsuits and who knows what, may make the EVO program a little weak, next time around. I don't know, its hard to say, but a company that is struggling, and dumps a ton of money into a all new car? mmmm makes you think what are we really going to get. Thats why I picked up a IX, I know what it is, where its built and what its built from. The current car is proven, tested, and is All . But throw in a chrysler global platform, obviously a cost savings, what else is going to trickle down? Why a Chrysler platform since Chrysler sold thier shares of I am not sure. Only time will tell. What we do need is a KICK *** RALLY DRIVER!!!! No Money, No Driver.......aahhhh Now knows how we all feel, the finacial wows. up and say Cheers, and do the best we can.........Later folks..........again, just my ten cents..................Jeff

That is not an EVO X… That is simply a Photoshop from an uninformed magazine. By virtually all recent accounts the production EVO X will look almost identical to the Concept X that was shown at recent auto shows.

bouce is right, this was scetch of how it may look as of July 2004. I spoke to my Mitsu dealer today and he said that Mitsu
Motors will be releasing Evo X in 6-8 months. So, for all potential IX buyers, hold out!!!

I'll probably never end up buying another EVO again cause the X is just to damn ugly, and expensive. And not a manual so "F" that crap. But if it looked like that picture, i'd do everything in my power to own one.

It has been reported by intelligent, informed sources that a choice (option) would exist between a conventional 5 speed manual and a paddle shifted "automatic".
