More mainstream and less juvenile? I wonder if this will expand the target market. Now anyone over 25 might be able to drive one without being laughed at.

EVO, LANCER, PT, CALIBER, and COMPASS will share the same platform. Share the same engines but different specs.

This car should be lighter than the current EVO IX.

I'm 33 and appalled by the idea. If you care what other people think about how your car looks in stock form, you have bigger problems that are beyond the scope of this thread.

And that's what they did with the 3G Eclipse. They increased sales to middle-aged women and sent motorsports enthusiasts running and screaming out of Mitsubishi dealerships. I hope this one backfires like the EP Civic Si hatch did for Honda!

I do think this is a regular lancer. It looks boring though but I am looking forward to seeing the X

You sound awfully self concious about your car! Have people been laughing at you or something?

You seem unable to comprehend simple written words. Has your literacy capacity been tested lately?

Thats because the new Evo is a naturally aspirated v6.

I think mitsubishi might be trying to reach a broader market with the bodystyle...I don't like it but, as we all know mitsubishi is not in great shape in the State compared to abroad. I'm just guessing this will possibly rejuvinate sales. I think they should consider a "sporty" edition if there going for this concept. This just will not do for a typically "rally" car. It already has to many similarities to other vehicals currently made TL, TSX, CHARGER and the Dodge family of cars. I can't believe I said that!
