want to know what the evo X will look like, don't look at CONCEPT X; look at the 2008 lancer on edmunds, carscoop or search it here. mitsu will play with it, but not nearly this much. CONCEPT X is just get the word out that the evo X is coming/generate buzz. if the next evolution looks anything like the concept, that will be the real surprise.

but an evo with 255s on 20's does look sick...

THis is very, very true. But All of the different branches of Mitsubishi are incorperated. Are they all the same company? Yes, but at the same time They could pull out of Amercian autos and still sell TVs, and transmissions and engines to KIA and Hyundai, and Chrysler. here. I also want to stress that in no way is Mitsu goin anywhere in the US. I bet Mitsu USA makes a good bit in parts from all the DSM guys and Evo People aswell. OEM parts and fluids arnt cheap.
I work at a Toyota/ Nissan Dealer. Becuase Toyota has an A$$ load of money they will warranty just about anything, then NIssan doesnt want to pay for anything. I could so tired when people talk crap about Mitsu cause they wont pay for there wings or little stuff and how people mod their cars void there warrenty. But that does go for just about all car Manufactorer not just Mitsu.
Sorry for the rant. I also agree to the upmost the Mitsubishi motor company of Americas isnt goin anyhwere in the US.

The evo looks so F-ing awesome. Looks real mean and really heavy and powerful, but in reality it is still a light fighter.

looks pretty awesome from the rear but that bass mouth like front end is a little overboard ..the interior is not happening...i'm sure the x they sale will not look like that on the inside.....the outside looks great except for the front grill....it's just too big...kindof looks like a dodge ram truck grill thrown onto an evo..i'm sure they will work it out and it will look awesome inside and out

Possible New Look EVO X Interior vs. EVO IX Interior

Since the EVO and Lancer interiors are very similiar (except of course seats, steering wheel, and some other minor differences) I wanted to get people's opinions on the possible new look for the EVO interior? Do you consider it to be a big improvement, slight improvement, or no improvement all? Keep in mind there are some differences between the EVO and Lancer interiors, so what you should try to do is imagine the new Lancer interior with the EVO treatment-

Pictures of the 2008 Lancer interior (probably will be very similiar to the EVOs interior)-
