Looks nice. I would llike to see how they pan out after two years of production. I would NOT buy that during the first model year, or any other auto for that matter. I like the VIII-IXish fenders compared to the concept. If the auto/paddle shifts anything like the VW GTI it will be plen T of fun to drive. I too agree aluminium blocks are questionable. I like the iron block meself. Looks like so Bilsteins behind that front wheel.
Overall good job Mitsubishi!

I betcha it will be between $38k and $42k. From a marketing angle, I think Mitsu is looking to do two things. First of all it's obvious they want to attract those folks who have the money for the current Evo, love the performance but haven't pulled the trigger because of the spartan interior and/or the boy-racer looks. The second thing they're trying to do is attract those Evo owners who've had their car for a few years now, are making a little more scrath, and looking for something with better lines and a little more 21 century technology in the cabin - not just in the engine and drivetrain. Just my 2 cents.
They've got my attention. I may be able to swing the payments of a ZO6 or maybe even the nw GT-R, but I still need 4 doors. I'm also an AWD lifer so if this car can perform like the VIII or IX (which it most certainly will) and keeps the lines and interior in the picture above then fug it. Why not?

Negative.

Last Post #450, I believe the first time pictures posted on EvoM. Also the link was posted in Evo general, but most people over look it.

I must say I'm a little concerned about the radical changes of the chasis/engine/design...I understand they're saying it's going to be the most radical change from model to model...but most of the things US customers are getting AYC and SAWD have been in Japan/Europe for years already. Looks like they softened the looks to try to appeal to a broader audience. Trying to lose the boy-racer look IMO. Not a huge fan personally...just doesn't look rally inspired. Looks econo-sedan inspired

needs some projector lenses added to the headlights like the current ones, i dont like the reflective style heads. with a futuristic design like that, every component should be modern.
