I'm willing to bet that some of those bells and whistles will be optional.

And besides, do you really need all those gauges? The chronograph is nice for people who like to take their car to do a time attack on local tracks and stuff, or just on that stretch of winding road in someone elses backyard

I personally don't like the whole gauge-***** concept that most so-called tuners in my area have...A-pillar, middle console, etc. Some of it is necessary but I dont look at much else but the tach and my speed, even in my Lancer beater car.

Well....i finished watching that lancerproject.com **** and teh guy said that what can change from the prototype to the production model are minor details like fog light, taillights and headlamps....he didnt mention the wheels, but i am pretty sure there going to be 18" not 20" but everything else like the overall looks and styrle of the car of the car is going to stay the same....duh!

Why do people keep on saying it's only going to have a clutchless DSG transmission? It has been stated many times in this site and in many other articles that it's going to have a traditional manual transmission also. Do some of you people actually read, or do you guys just look at the pictures? I'm not directing my comment towards everyone, just the few people that only like looking at pics and have the reading comprehension of a five year old.

Oh, by the way I'm not getting bent out of shape because of this. It just bugs me when people don't read and then make a silly uninformed comment. Also when these people get corrected they get all pissy like a woman on PMS.

I don't mind being corrected if I am wrong, so you guys can just flame me all you want.

Yea i feel u on that. The interior is just like the new Outlander, it looks good for the Outlander but bad for the Lancer/Evo. Another thing i didn't like is the tranny, it's nice if it would be an option but it seem that it is the only transmission available so that means no conventional manual. They didn't answer my questions either. I'll prolly save my money and get the Lancer then turbo it since they are using the same engine (B11).

U'r right. I just said that because when i read the original specs earlier last year it said it was gonna have a tiptronic. And when i saw it at MMNA HQ in cypress at MOD06 it seemed it was Tiptronic.

Careful the words you use... While there will be no clutch pedal DSG is anything but clutchless.
