looks like we will have to put IRON sleeves i the new block. Not too familiar with paddle shifters...is there a delay between me hitting the paddle and the car shifting?

CT9A= last of the Evo's and the last of the golden age of homogulated rally cars.

The X' may be a better "car" in some regards, but sadly just a car.

I believe the 6 speed pedal shift would be like the DSG in VW and Audi cars. If that's the case then it is more than welcome.

I'm sure it has iron or steel sleeves from the factory. all aluminum blocks do.

Yes, But If U Didn't Know, That Will Be Next Body/chassis That Will Be Used For The Lancer/evo Models In The Near Future. So It Is Not To Say That We Are Wrong To Assume That That Will Be The Evo X. While It Is Still A Concept, Look At The Specs My Friend...

I don't see this as neccesarily a bad thing, it's all in the execution. If it does it's job well, and doesn't weigh as much as a battleship anchor, then you're getting maybe a free 10th of a second for every upshift you would've done with a regular manual. Imagine the amount of time saved over the course of a circuit race or rally or autocross. But the key is for Dr. Evo's team not to botch it.

Personally I'm glad that Mitsubishi is addressing the drivetrain on the Evo. Probably 90% of the issues with the Evo are in regards to some part of the drivetrain. Sure they could just upgrade the current transmissions to make them more robust, but where is the Evolution in that? That's more akin to putting a band-aid on a dodo bird.

If you read this forum MMNA, don't screw this up!

It looks like audi A8 + New mustang.

I miss the E30 fender boxes and the open exposed mechanical look of the 7-9 front end. I'm aready bored with it.

The Ferrari FXX will shift in under 100ms with it's semi-automatic transmission, who knows what Mitsubishi can do.

I'm being sarcastic since when I posted the Concept Sport back the moderator closed the thread because I said it will be the next evo X. It is quite obvious that the next evo will be base off of the 2 concepts they showed.

Your powers of deduction are outstanding. But, if you had wanted further proof that it is a concept then you could have simply looked at the title of this thread where it clearly states 'concept.' Thanks Mr. Obvious.

Actually identical.

The same company that does them for VW / Audi is doing the Evo X.

But don't worry too much guys - that's DEFIENTLY going to be an option. A standard 6-Speed Manual WILL be available.

I can guarantee it.

The VW DSG shifts in 80ms, it's actually faster than the Ferrari.

I think by "Clutchless" they meant doesn't have a clutch paddle.
