2) Unclip the yellow Airbag harness taking care not to damage it. It is held by a "slip-type" harness.

How? Scared I'm going to bust this clip.

its really easy, just grab both ends of the lip and pull. It will slip right off when you pull back the locking mechanism.

ok. Got it. Thanks. I didn't want to force it.

So after I got everything set up, I went to put my air bag on with the 2 torx screws. Turns out, one is missing now. I've looked everywhere...

*sigh*

Does anybody know the part number, so I can order one?

got everything working. Found the screw.

Dont lose it. You're pretty hosed if you do. It's mentioned earlier that it's designed to not come out, but it can. So be carefull.

The bluetooth pairing is simple. When it asks for your code, say whatever you want the code to be. Later you put that code into your phone.

My iphone phonebook list doesn't come up on the nav system. Kinda a bummer. I was hoping that it would have all my contacts and would be able to just select the contact I want. Instead, you have to voice program each contact. That or manually type it in on the nav, or say outloud the number you want to call.

All in all, dope mod. Glad I did it. Thanks for the write up.

Only if the yellow plug is detatched. You get a fancy logo of a stick guy getting wacked in the face by the airbag.

Once it's plugged back in, the light goes off.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I have a quick question for anyone who has done this:

Will this mod work on the standard stereo (non-MMCS)?

I'm a little confused by the pictures, as pic 11 of post 1 looks like the base-model stereo, but pic 4 of post 2 shows the MMCS.

I have a Canadian model Ralliart, and it has all the steering wheel and AWC controls in the proper places as described, from the factory, and I am hoping all I will need to do is plug in the module and the mic.

Thanks for any clarity!
