I'm starting to hear a lot of rattling from the back of my car even when the bass is low and was hoping this was the problem (although the deck also looked a bit loose when I was looking at it).
Is there any safety precautions or something I should watch out for/be careful with when taking that part out?
Also, did you have any trouble putting it back in and how long did it take?

Took me 2 hours to do this the hardest part is to but the c pillars back. and ask a friend tho help you putt the back seat in again. It is possible to to alone but a little bit tricky. If your do like i did make sure so you dont put something so the belts cant move and make sure to put dynamat all the way to the window

Anybody have an issue with a creeking type sound coming from where the front windshield meets the roof, more towards the passenger side? Just got 2013 GSR and this was one of the first things I noticed. It drives me nuts on long highway trips!

I get this. I took off the pillar and taped a bunch of stuff up with cloth tape. Nothing fixed it.

you can only buy in bulk at commercial places, but if you PM me I'll send you a strip of it. It's basically a thumbable seam sealer. Fix ya right yup.

rub the rubber area with baby oil, it's just dry. can squeak more when it's winter time since the plastic is harder.

Anyone have a fix for this? Maybe the felt near the shifter?
yes! and when you touch the shifter it stops? I've got a fix, here:

pop off your shifter surround
you'll see the open area around the base.

I get this constantly. I'm chalking it up to the cold weather and hoping it goes away when spring rolls around.

Got a loud buzzing rattle in the console. When I mash down on it the rattle stops. How big of a p.i.t.a is it to remove the console?

I have a rattle/noise coming from the rear every single time I shift, when the cup holder in the back seat is down the sound is greater, it's bad when I disengage in first gear, then the sounds lessens after every gear change.

Sounds like the back deck to me. Speaker carpet under the plastic is a common fix.
