The passenger side vent is noisy
Edited, looking at fixing the rattling blade piece on the passenger AC Vent.

So far, blessed with zero rattles. Knock on wood.

Heh, car has almost 1000 kms on it, and when the cab is cold theres a rattle from the rear.
Also, when music is playing the right door has a vibration somewhere. Typical Mitsubishi.

i took my passenger side vent apart and put a piece of felt on one side and the bottom which has removed the drifting feature and the noise.

i will eventually do the same to the drivers side.

^Me too!
The noise was like a 'flutter' and only when driving. It was intermittant. Seemed worse in the winter time. My theory was that it was the hatch 'wing' itself making the noise.

This weekend my Lovely Bride (on her own inititiative ) climbed back there while i was driving and pressed on the trim. That was it!

The fix was removing all the hatch trim - it basically pulls away after you remove the screws for the handle. You do not need to remove the black'buttons' that hold the cord for the deck cover.

I filled the cavities with thin medium density foam and reassembled it. Good to go!

Be careful with the flimsy white tabs that hold the panels - they are brittle - so ensure the foam doesn't block the hole- because pushing harder will only shatter the white tabs. Ask Me How I Know..

Theory is that either the washer tube or the rear window de-icer wires were touching something... or the panels themselves were touching something...

I figured foam it all since i had it open.

I have a 2011 MR. When the car is parked for a short time I get a tweak when I first hit the breaks after driving a few feet. Sounds like coming from the breaks. . After hitting the breaks 2 or 3 times it is gone. All the time after the car is parked for a short wile. I looked for other post on this but did not see anything. Anyone know about this? Thanks guys.

Do you back up before you park or while parking? That could slightly slide the brake pads back, and when you start driving normal the pads would slide forward a little causing a small sound. Just a guess.

I think your right. That's what I first thought. Just put on new Stop Teck pads on. that's when I go worse. Thanks for your time.

the brake pads adjust themselves every time you move, probably just noticing it now since you have louder pads. Stock does it too.
