Well when the evo mr comes to the usa, it will be met with its cheap vival, the newly improved 2005 subarau wrx sti. the link is below

The big thing missing from the web article that you get in the real weekly publication is Mazda'a AWD 2.3L 4 cyl Twin (??) Turbo 6spd 4door competitor!. Page 5 of Autoweek July 19, 2004 shows the hot weather test mule in California claiming debut in September.

This thread should probably be in "Other Cars".
See this thread about the AWD Turbo Mazda: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=88924

I don't see where you get off that the subbie isn't a competitor with the MR. The stock STi beats the Stock Evo in the 1/4 mile. And any car can be Auto-x'd, i'd be afraid doing it with the mitsu now though since Mitsu likes to veto your warranty for racing/auto-xing.
subie likes to void your warranty, too. the sti is a competitor with the MR because it is the only other street-prepped rally car in our market and is also a 4 door sedan type chassis, however, the MR does beat the current US STI from almost every aspect, 1/4, 0-60, skidpad, slalom, etc. etc... only problem is, we don't know exactly how the US Evo MR will be, most comparison is from MRs that are not currently stateside, where the AYC is still in question as to whether it will be equipped on the '05 US evos. so flah, there goes another useless post.
HoLeeRay, I hope you don't spend $20 per day on lunch and breakfast! If I skipped those meals and drank water at work, I'd save around $8 per day. Hmmm... maybe I should do that, I could save over $200 per month.
What do you expect to save by quitting smoking and not going on your trip?

Other money-saving ideas to buy the Evo MR:
- Stop washing the laundry
- Stop buying toothpaste, deodorant, and other personal hygiene products
- Stop buying haircuts and shaving refill cartridges - DIY with scissors and a sharp rock
- Stop buying "goods" for your other "habit"
- Who needs a girlfriend? Stop buying her stuff and she'll dump you. If she doesn't, woohoo, free sex (with another person!)
- Stop going to movie theaters... well, you can still sneak in
- Learn the art of shoplifting
- They might want $15, but the real minimum payment on a credit card balance is ZERO (same goes for cell phone, cable, utilities, mortgage)

My dealer gave me a VON vehicle order # that they use to track the car before it receives a VIN.
The Mitsubishi Dealer here in FT.lauderdale told me i would have my car by the end of August and here it is the end of the month but that was back in late June. Now they say the middle of September but when I get a vin # I will know for sure. I will try to keep you guys posted. Waiting for Wicked White MR
