The performance numbers are pretty much equal, so I'll be damned if I will pay over $3000 more for an Evo...
NEWSFLASH! There are "regular" EVOs still available in your price range that will perform just as well. Don't jump over to the scooby camp so fast!

this coming from the same dealership that said this in the last thread...

We have taken 7 deposits for Evo MR's yet I still don't know the MSRP and I'm a manager?!!!
We have a total of 16 coming with in a months time frame. But we have about 40 people who really want one

Hey I'm being strait up with you guys, If you think these cars are going without a mark up your sadly mistaken. We are taking Deposits for MSRP but don't think that the deposit is going to be applied to the overall price. But I can tell you this if you do buy an MR, buy it from a dealer who understands the market and they buyer. One reason we ask for a slight markup, because we take exceptional care of our cars. We have only one Evo set aside for demoing purposes, all the other are stored in a secure underground storage facility. Owners even have the option of having the car directly flatbeded to there house or dyno facility as soon as the shipment truck arrives at the dealership. None of our evo have been abused by sales personel or JACK customers (except for the demo). How many of you Bought your evo with less than 5 miles on it, I DID.

My point is if you want the best selection and a good price give us a call

Ask for the two managers that own Evos themselves

Thats right, Im the guy who Bought the Ralliart for $ 12,595 for my wife from Robert, and Im also getting the MR for MSRP. Gettining shipped the 24 of this month, you guys could talk all you want about dealers, but when it gets down to the point, you could either talk all day about getting ripped off or start making a deal and really finding out what deal youre going to get dont just guess, get your *** to the dealer and actually do it!!!

I did, I was the one arguing with him on the last threat that he replied that too. MR for MRSP, signed on the dotted line. What year was the Ralliart anyway, 04? It's getting to be the time of the year for discounts on last year's models...

Don't want to start a flame war, I just think it's strange that two people at the same dealer can say directly opposite things.

YMMV,
Greg

yeah... i can understand where you're coming from, but let's face it... it's going to be DAMN hard to sell an EvoM member an MR above MSRP. so, why not keep everything moving, both customers and vehicles, and make things happen.

i look at the mitsubishi dealer website only to find that they have still not released the MSRP's and I ask myself, "MY GOD WHY".

They ship em, but don't tell us how much money they're going to subtract from our bank accounts? What if we only have a few hundred grand?

Actually I would say the two types of people are those who know how to negotiate and those who don't. You don't want to be part of the second.

i don't know what your problems i think you can very good deal with dizzigital he is fair and a very nice guy. i spoke with about 20 us car sales managers and i think he is one of the nicest and not only because he know where switzerland is

do you guy's know how it works in europe if you wana buy a car?

i'll tell you!

first you go to a dealership to have a look at the car maybe you go for a test ride and so on. after that you go to speak about how you would like to have your car, color, options, extras then they talk about the trade in and if necesary leasing, cash or whatever.

if every thing is okay the dealer is going to make him an offer!

they charge normally a price you can find in price lists and i never heard about mark up's

the dealer offers him maybe a 3% discount and that's it.

but don't think the dealer could deliver the car the next day forget it normally you have to wait at least 2 month till 12month of delivery times the import organisations don't stock their cars most cars you buy here are just in time production what means they don't have a lot of stock cars they sell very cheap or on the opposite with huge mark up's

hey think about if you would be a dealer what would you do? would you opperate on the world most famous buissnes theorie demand/offer or what would you do?

do you know how much money's is just waiting in your dealers stock? it can be $4000000 for example and do you think your dealer is so rich that he can pay that without debts? do you know how much interests you pay on that amount of money? i really don't wana know it! and what happends when the economic won't work very well the dealer has to sell the cars under invoice because the new one's are arriving and at the end he brought $4000000 in circulation but only earned some k's would you like to have that risk on you?

nobody talks about that the 2004 cars are soon on sale! do you think it's bad to discount cars i personally think it's a very nice thing because you can get a nice car for less money but i also think you americans are diffrent in paying cars!

how many of you payied their cars cash? i guess nearly nobody or am i wrong? here i guess that 2/3 of the people paid their car cash but that's something else i think all the world know that the you are a country with lot's of debts and maybe the swiss are the opposite and it's not only good to save all the money you earn because otherwise the economic won't work very well

sorry for my english but feel free to ansewer in german or french
