You SM salespeople are the greatest liars on the planet...

Just avoid Santa Monica Mitsu at all costs and you'll be happier. This guy will try to sell you a donut for $10k markup.

Check the boycott thread for history on SM Mitsu.

Darn ... you seem to be receiving some harsh criticism Dizz

Anyway - there is always 2 sides to a coin and I understand that stealerships have to stay afloat and make a living. If you have a hot product you might have to mark it up as much as you can to help cut losses elsewhere.

On the same note, a new car purchase is a business transaction, and if you conduct business, as a buyer you ought to be aware of what is a fair price.

For better or worst, we live in a capitalist society and trade prices are often set by demand and supply. We therefore need to take responsibility for our own actions too - meaning if one gets gouged - it just might be through greed, impatience, ignorance, a fat bank account or a combination of the above.

The Doc is right - it is a buyer's market because we have many choices and we have control over what we pay or are not willing to pay for a non essential item. look before you leap.

Their is no set "Limited Production" number, yes it will be a low production vehicle, but Mitsubishi will meet demand.

Remember, the price you pay for a car (or anything really) is determined by one thing and one thing only - YOU. The only two types of people in this capitalist society are the haves and the have nots. You decide which one you want to be and how much it means to you. Though, its funny how nobody complains when a manufacturer comes out with $5000 rebates or special financing to help move slow items.

Any rate, still no official word on "price." Peace. I gotts to go batten down the hatches cuz Ivan's rollin' up I-65 right at me.
