well if I get an 8k loan, I would just focus most of my pay on that payment and I should pay it off less than a year and half or less. I'm pretty sure I would be able to pay it off quick and my insurance

But if the lancer isnt totaled then im doing the front evo conversion and making it my drag car once I get my new car for DD.

so tomorrow will tell what goes on.
What will happen Steven is if they total it out then they will send out an adjuster to assess its value I dont believe they will give you anything for the engine mods so they will give you what your car is worth stock unless you reported the mods in which case your insurance would have skyrocketed lol. They will give you the option to buy it back and the price depends on the highest bidding junkyard. At least that how it works up here. My first car long ago was a crx and some crazy woman side swiped me right after putting a couple grand into the suspension. The ins only gave me $1200 for the car and the buy back was a whopping $60 (needless to say I bought it back it was still drivable unlike the twin turbo 300zx that hit me it ripped there whole front end off)

If the insurance has a lien holder they'll probably pay it off and give you the rest (IF ITS TOTALED). Either way its going to be paid off

They won't include the mods if you did not report the mods to your insurance company, they are gonna give you the value as if it was stock, if that's what you're asking. If they declare it as totaled, when they buy it off you, they are gonna sell it back to you as if it was stock even though there's mods like turbo, etc., generally they don't count mods.

Kbb doesn't include mods. But if you don't buy your car back they will leave everything on your car as is before they sell it to the junkyard. If you repoerted the mods to your insurance agency they will include the mods but it still wont add too much to the value. Maybe an extra hundred or so.

Most people I know who had the modded car totalled either pulled all there mods before the adjuster got there (if they decided not to buy it back if its too messed up) or just left as is if they knew it would be easy to fix.

Looks like this might be the end of the road...

I called my insurance company there going to move it to the salvage yard for the adjuster to take a look at it to see if its repairable or not...

so here is what im thinking

- if it is repairable im going to get the car worked on and keep it

- if its not repairable im going to see if I can buy it back depending how much they want for it

- If its not repairable and its going to cost alot to buy back, the lady on from the insurance company said the adjuster will call me and I can tell him what I need to pull off the car... which is going to be alot of things... Exhaust, turbo, injectors, air filter, maf adapter, downpipe, etc...

So if its totaled I will have this stuff up for sale soon. And the only thing good out of this is another person will join the turbo lancer group when buyingmy parts.
