Im looking for something new to work on, as my new street/fun car.. Thinkin evo8/9/s2k/genesis right now, would be gutted on day 1, shaved and wire tucked.. Ive never been a fan of the wrx boxter motors, so wrx is out of the question, also lookin at possibly another lancer to..

were starting on the crx at the end of january, so that will take up most my time aside from weekend racing the lancer.

I really hate the idea of gutting a car man , its better to add boost then to remove weight

sounds like a lot of wrx owners. they just throw parts at it without a tune. tthe sti ic wont do anything if yur stock turbo, and the intake wont do much. its when you get to the turbo inlet is where you will start seeing some gains.

right now im tuned stage 2.5 (maxing out all stocks of turbo, injectors, ic, and pump) @22psi and i could easilly walk over my lancer tuned to 15...

Well.. Lancer = race car.. surprisingly i still have a radio and front speakers.. (but not for much longer)

and new street car will be basically all for racing. but still streetable enough to not get noticed.. ill leave the front speakers in just so i have something to listen to.. but the rest will be gutted, and shaved, repainted.

cuz i have a nice DD. with leather heated seats, 3 inch lift, supercrew.. love my f150 lariat

But sadly, even my truck is going to get replace come summer time, I want a f250/f350 diesal. My buddy has an f250 gas, with a 3rd wheel, it will tow just fine, but id rather have more then enough power to tow a 3 car open hauler.

then whoever tuned it did a horrible job or he had an ots map from cob...

soobs are a lot harder to tune than a mitsu, and tuning it correctly is another feat in itself...

what size street tires u using? on my falken rt615s 205/50/15s i was doing 1.8 60' times all day long and wasnt spinnning THAT much(12-15psi, 20psi if on street).. (well i lie, i spun all the way through 2nd, but it atleast hooked a little) and With the 22x8x15 slicks it was doing about the same, but my 300' was MUCH better.

Dam are you serious Hahaha i thought it was normal . Im using Yoko H4s all seasons 205/45/16 . My best 60 to date is a 2.16 .

Here is a little video of me just going 40 in second and just flooring it .

That is just at 10psi btw . Sometimes because of the weather the car will hit 12psi and will spin a little going into 3rd .
