Going turbo but got some questions
That's the best i have. The source you want is anything "post-throttle body", as far as the "getting it's reading". You want one side to be pre-turbo and the other side to be post turbo. The purpose is to open a pathway for the pressurized air to be able to equalize on both sides of the compressor turbine. So, one end on the intake pipe (mine is red in that pic) and the other is connected to the "upper intercooler piping" with that black piece of ...*cough* radiator hose *cough*
Im a bit lost. Someone explain this to me please.

Here is what forge website says about the evo 8 wga.
"Designed by Forge to replace the original component this uprated actuator is serviceable and guaranteed for life. It comes with an uprated diaphragm and a billet CNC machined aluminium mounting bracket."
Im a bit lost. Could it be a mistype on my box? So is it piston or diaphram? Im sure spring loaded is diaphram

...wait, are you looking for a forge bov, diverter valve, or waste gate actuator?
It was the actuator. It came with the red spring. I just didnt want to advice someone to get the diaphram spring set and they needed to get the piston. I will still say it is diaphram since it is a spring on the inside. Either way I have all the parts I need now. I just need to learn more on the tuning before I put everything together. And yes I do have the 5-10 psi spring. Only thing I really missing now are some gauges. I was thinking of getting this since it comes with a few things I will need anyway.

if your paying 350 it should come with everything, my AEM wideband was 200 so I assumed its the whole package deal
It says it logs air/fuel ratio rpms bosst/vacuum rpms throttle position and injector pulse. So I would say yes. Only downside is it only comes with one gauge. But it does all of them so yea. It seems to be a good buy for the price. Im sure I can find it cheaper on ebay but why bother with a random dealer when I can go to justin and know what im getting is new and know when it will get to me.
Cool. Getting the big stuff is easy. Its getting the little things that's a pain. Such as bolts to the turbo to o2 housing or buying an fittings for oil/water lines. Hooking up is easy as well. Taking them off is a pain. Looking forward to your build. I've got everything I need just waiting on some time off from work and for it to be warm for 2 good days.

Yeah I'm getting all the big stuff out of the way and then going after the little things. Let me know where you get the fittings from and the sizes that's what has me worried that I won't get the right sizes.
