alright, almost got everything. Is an oil sandwich adapter necessary or is there a different way to get oil to the turbo? besides RRM is there another place I can get a full oil feed/return kit? I'm having a hard time understanding the fitting language on the threads.

a/n fittings. You can get from a local home depot or ebay. you can however use the oil sandwich adaptor. Although I have heard from evo owners that it becomes a problem when your lowered.

there is also like a 10mm plug just above the oil filter housing that rrm recommends to run an oil feed as well

i believe its a -4an fitting for the feed side and the rrm kit had that go to a banjo style fitting for the turbo. i know you can get the fittings and such at summit. i was looking to build my own oil feed hose for my new turbo for the scoob and i wasnt paying no 70+ for just the feed when i can make the hose at work for about 40.

as for the return get a 3/8 npt fitting with a barb on one side and then get like a 1g/2g dsm oil return and cut off the flex joint. buy like 6" of 3/8 oil cooler hose and some hose clamps. wallah you have the rrm oil return....

you wont have an issue with your car being lowered bro the oil fiter is still not long enough to go past the bottom of the oil pan

I used a 5/8" host barb for my return, and I used the side hex bolt thing for my feed. I think it's actually like, 1/2" bspt, and not npt or whatever. I bought both, and the bspt threaded in MUCH smoother. I also got some stainless steel mesh wrapped hose for my return.

Also, when I took the hex bolt out, it scared the crap outta me thinking something would crack because it was so tight. I eventually just put the bit on the impact, closed my eyes and pulled the trigger....it all worked out fine though.

So, point being, that sandwich is nice, because you can run a temp, and I like that idea.
