Keep it STD unless your refinishing the cranks bearing journals. All the clearances should be STD unless your machining the bearing journals.

Yeah... If there's no major scoring or grooves in the crank just polish that baby up and use STD size bearings. You can use plastigage to measure the clearances. Once you start putting it together. You should be good though no need to measure crush clearance if the journals are in good shape.

The motor i rebuilt had 191k on it. The head over heated. All the bearings and journals looked mint when I tore it down. Your is probably in better shape since the coolant didnt mix with the oil and break down the oil.

if i get the pistons .025 over do i need the bearings to be as well? Just thinking if getting block machined might be nice to be in fresh meat vs just cleaning it basiclly.

yes machine it 20 over so that fresh crosshatch lines can be made into the cylinders and the new rings can seat good. oh my car almost passed smog today! damn idle air control valve code came up for high idle. Turns out my throttle cable was tweaked. had to reset the ECU and didnt have enough time to drive the car to update the monitors. Will give it another go on monday.

Since we know you guys love carnage here is the video. I'm not sure why i didn't record it but 03lances camera did...this was first e85 pull. Not sure what tune looks like but guessing its close to same as pump gas tune. Running SD with 4bar MAP.
