i got an idea. Someone with each year car that knows how to tune should do this, get your car stock (if not too much work), and get a nice tune for it, then sell it to the people that dont know how to tune (make them pay paypal and then you send them the file). Then put on an intake and do it again. Then you have a good tune for each mod added and for the people that aren't stealers, you make a couple bucks for the labor of swapping mods and the service of a tune.
I'm modded way too far past I/H/E otherwise I would consider providing tuned maps as a base for people. Basic tuning is not as hard as some people may think. If you have the proper monitoring and datalogging items required, all that is left is a basic knowledge of air and fuel consumption in an engine. A dyno also helps so you're not making 100mph passes down industrial streets (like me
).

lol, but my whole problem is not having the money to buy a wideband. and I don't understand these maps (although I haven't really looked into learning yet). So for a custom tune, I'd have to go to a shop with a dyno and wideband.
If you factor in the cost of taking your car to a shop for dyno time and a tune it actually comes close to the cost of purchasing your own wideband unit. And you have to pay everytime you go back for a tune. At the very least you should pull the ROM off your ECU and look at all the data to get an understanding of how the ECU is telling your engine to run. The numbers are very conservative for the Lancer.

For the N/A guys, neither I nor senate could help out much since we're both turbo'd. However, for those considering tuning their turbo kits, we could definately help out. I recently tuned for my larger injectors. However, I have yet to flash the ECU with it - just looking for a good night to do all the install/lflashing/logging
