then i guess my next question is, is if I power off the safc, do the values of the safc stay or does it go back to the way it was before the safc was implemented?

The values on the SAFC should be kept even after you unhook it. You can leave your SAFC connected while you flash your ECU. What you should do is see what areas of the fuel curve you have modified. Then after you do some datalogging you can look to see how much load is at those points and then alter your ECU values accordingly. I've been phasing out my SAFC for the past few weeks with different flashes to my ECU. As soon as I figure out how to adapt my ROM values for my 501 MAF I will eliminate my SAFC completely.

The definition file you have does not have the correct address locations for your ROM values. Post a copy of your ROM up and someone should be able to get a working definition file to you.

Thank you! I can't wait to get this thing going. I did some logging with your mitsulogger this evening and that worked like a charm!

Have you tried adjusting the idle screw on the TB as well?

i saw post on SCLC.NET about members trying to fit 65mm DSM tb on Lancer and they also got high idle too... I belive boe and ryzine (i might be wrong) but when i read post on the mirage forum they fix it by connecting the close throttle wire to the sensors and idle was okey, but after i installed it our sensors and mirage sensors are different (lancer has three wire on TPS and mirges ahve four) so... everything is perfect on my car, just idle is resting at 2k. i have to find a device that could control idle or i might have to put stock tb back. man i really don't want to put stock back since power increase was very nice!!! so z lancer man, can you adjust idle with that software and cable?? when i saw it with the rom you gave me, there was a idle control option there!!?? or can RRM's piggy control idle?? or maybe some other Air Fuel controller or other piggyback??

Sounds like you need to adjust the idlestepper table.

Yeah, you should be able to adjust it on the ECUflash. No piggyback unit (RRM, APEXI, etc) is going to be able to control idle. Good luck!
