ok got the cable, download everything fine no errors picked the 04 lancer, and i cant see anything? im lost, is it working for you drucea? or any other 04s?

i tried using the 03 definiton from z lancer but its not correct, there is no high octane fuel map and the low octane map looks off and is missing values. I searched around ecuflash forums and i cant find any help or direction on how to go about creating definitions :/

 

Yeah I'm stuck with mine. I can't get it to do anything with my car. Is there anyone anywhere in texas that can help me out in person because I can't figure it out? Thanks. Sorry I can't help you out Silens.

 

Silens - sounds like a definition file for you needs to be made as well. Can you post or email me your stock ROM? Did none of the definition files work for you? Send it to me and I'll see if I have one that works and if not, we'll get one made for you.

 

Yes none of the Lancer definitions worked, i even tried yours, but there was no high octane fuel map, and there were values missing from a lot of the tables.

i posted on the openecu forum for some help, my ROM ( that is the .hex file downloaded from the ecu right? ) is posted there

Hey to everyone who knows what they are doing with the Ecu Flash!! I need to know exactly what I need, how much, and were to get it!! I also need a complete def file for my mirage oz 2.0T, Lancer Oz 2002 Motorswap,T3/4 super 50 turbo, Port&Polished, 300cc inj. 60mm TB, Feul regulator,Safc2, FMIC, Ect. I need the flash for 7-10psi!!! Want to datalog also. Thanks

 

hey guys, my cable and open ECU communicates with my car fine but i also do not see High Octane Map, I only see low octane fuel Map. But i see both high and low octane Ignition map under timing. What's wrong??

 

u PROBABLY need a definition file created to correctly decipher your ROM. If not, you're gonna see erratic numbers everywhere and won't be right.

 

hmmm i uploaded the rom to my ecu and it worked fine.. everything seems right except i don't see high octane maps

 

Drucea- are you connecting the cable to the computer BEFORE you open ecuflash?
otherwise it wont up load the rom

If you get a connection- just keep trying different models to inherit from until it loads.
Once that is done post your rom and Ill do a def in a couple of hours (allowing for the fact im in New Zealand)

If anyone has a rom without a definition, or there are scrambled tables etc- post it and ill do them too.

I know heaps about the ecus- so should be able to help. I have an Airtrek Turbo, which is based off an Evo but with different ecu- so I had to learn lots to get things to work.

 

Well heres my rom , it is for an 04 Lanzer OZ Manual, none of the other Evo or Lancer definitions work
