I just got ordered a o2 housing, down pipe, test pipe, and cat-back all 3", and all hard pipes for intake and ic piping. But im looking to up the boost and ecu with the AEM ECU. But I am told I will need to change the fuel ratio because i will be running lean. If anyone knows a good cc for the injectors with a walbro fuel pump please pm me with ideas.

^^ Uh, you have strayed far from the EVO forums, However, to not waste this post, upgrading to 750 cc injectors will be plenty for your needs.

but i put down 181whp and 188ft/lbs of torque on a mustang dyno which is about 226whp and 266chp on a dynojet with my NGK 450cc injectors and a walbro

As far as EcuFlash goes... wideband should hopefully be on it way and then I can take care of ecu flash

Open ECUFlash... then open up your high/low fuel and ignition maps on the screen. Organize them all up into the top left corner so they form a compact box. Hit your "PrtScn" (Print Screen) button on the upper right of your keyboard. Then open up MS Paint, and click on Edit.. you should have the option to Paste. When you do, you should hopefully have a full screenshot of your screen. Use the dotted-line box icon to single out the fuel and ignition maps into a selection. Use Edit again, but say Copy. Go to File... then New... and say No to saving the changes. A new white background picture should come up. Go to Image... and then Attributes... make the Width equal to 1, and Length equal to 1 and hit OK. Finally, go to Edit... and Paste again. The selection of just the maps which you selected in the previous image should come up. Go to File... and Save As... Choose a destination for the file, and save it as a 24-bit Bitmap file.

Once you have that done, you should make an account on http://www.photobucket.com/. Use the image uploader to put the file into your album. Copy the URL that appears below the uploaded picture... you basically just have to click on the URL and it will pop up a little yellow box that says "Copied".

From there, come back to the forums here... post a reply, and at the top of the reply box there is a little photo icon for "Insert Image". Click on that (you may need to click on a yellow bar at the top of the screen to allow pop-ups at this point... if so, allow them and click on the image button again) and you'll get a window to put the image URL into. Delete anything already in that URL window. Then with the cursor inside the text section, hit your Ctrl button and V at the same time to paste the URL in. Hit OK and the URL will be posted into your reply.

Put whatever text you like around the image URL, and hit Post...

And, that's how you can let us have a look at your fuel maps

In comparison to the maps that I've been seeing so far, I can only sum up what I'm seeing as "weird"... It's as if your fuel map values were put into a bingo popper and randomly regurgitated onto a table. Your car run fine like this?

Haha, it does. every now and then it would be idleing and it would go from 700 down to about 5 and back up again. i can sometimes notcie that when i rev up in Netural that it would bounce back a couple hundred rpm and then go back up to what i have the pedal held at.

Really odd looking for sure... maybe it's something to do with it being an automatic? I don't understand the maps well enough yet to be able to see exactly what's going on, etc.. It would be nice to see what a wideband o2 sensor shows throughout your powerband. Any plans on installing one?

Ahh... I thought you had an auto when you said "... when I rev up in Neutral...".

I'm also awaiting my wideband. I ordered it off of eBay, so hopefully it'll be here soon. I start a new job in a week, so I would like to get some tuning done before I get busy again.

If you happen to come across any good information on load and targeting particular fuel map cells... like for instance, what driving conditions would it take to read the fuel map cell located at 3500 RPM, and 50% load... stuff like that, please be sure to post a link. I was just watching one of my EVOScan logs in 4th gear, and at WOT, it would seem that the timing advance is following the 100% load column perfectly.... and, I assume that if I took a log of just revving up the engine slowly in neutral, that would be an accurate log of the 0% load column. Mid-range targeting is what I have to figure out now

We can do this!

Thanks.

Lancerrally45 - those maps are the evidence that your definition file has been improperly defined. The first attempt at a def file for me yielded the same results and the next day I was messaged saying it was wrong! DO NOT TUNE/FLASH YOUR ECU WITH THAT DEFINITION FILE. Your maps should look like mine and others in this thread.

Good call... if you happen to have the ECU ID which is the same as Wickdaddy's... namely 98720010... then, download this file. Delete the 98720010.xml out of the rommetadata/mitsubishi/lancer folder, and place the extracted version of this one in the rommetadata folder. Start up ECUFlash and read your ROM again. Hopefully it'll be fixed this time.. lol

EDIT: If it's fixed, take a new screenshot.. I'd like to see the before/after of this one for sure
