When you reset the ECU you are resetting the fuel trims. The short term fuel trim is varying all the time based on the engines readings, and the long term is an average of hte short terms readings. It is kinda like your avg fuel consumption. After it has been reading for a long time it takes a lot of change over a long period of time to affect the acg. However, by resetting it you get rid of the old data from the avg and it only averages the new data. With as few miles as I'm sure your cars have I am sure it will be fine, however, the best way is to reset it.

Intake piping is 2.5", if that's what you mean. If you want the measurements of the actual filter material, I can do that too.

Greddy has good marketing folks. The filters we use flow as good or better than K & N. Also we do sell replacement filters. Must have posted that a few times now.

Maybe this is normal, but I am going to take it off tonight to see if I forgot plastic on the filter or something. I feel like I lost a bit of bottom end power, mid range is def. up, and high end might be up, I just notice the noise a lot more in the high end so I can't really tell. The transitions between powerbands are a lot smoother too.

I know what someone was saying about the noise being mistaken as a turbo intake, its crazy.

Just curious because my highway fuel consumption has dropped, driving to work (highway) I was getting between 6.5L and 7.5L/100KM before and yesterday and today it says around 8L - 8.5L/100km. Computer still relearning maybe? btw I use cruise control so unless the computer is driving more aggressive it should be the same? The road is pretty dead.

For city cruising though, I love this thing , throttle response is up and quicker because I usually drive around 2500 to 3500 in the city

Don't disagree there, just wanted to see if it was normal, or if there was something obvious I missed.

No, I think it's normal. The free-flowing nature probably just makes the topend HP more powerful. Especially with the MIVEC sucking in air.
